Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Hiseeu Solar Wireless Security Camera System. This system includes a base station with 1TB storage and four solar-powered wireless cameras, designed for both indoor and outdoor surveillance. It features 2K color night vision, PIR/AI detection, and dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity.

Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before installation, ensure all cameras are fully charged using the provided USB charging cables. Although solar panels will maintain charge, an initial full charge is recommended for optimal performance.

2. Base Station Connection

1. Connect the Base Station to a power outlet using the provided power adapter.
2. Connect the Base Station to your router via the Ethernet cable for initial setup and remote access. Alternatively, the Base Station supports 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi for wireless network connection.
3. For local monitoring, connect the Base Station to a TV or monitor using an HDMI cable.

3. Camera Pairing (One-Tap Pairing)

1. Ensure the Base Station is powered on.
2. Press and hold the 'SYNC' button on the Base Station until you hear a voice prompt indicating pairing mode.
3. Power on each camera. The cameras will automatically attempt to pair with the Base Station.
4. Once paired, the camera's indicator light will change, and you will see the camera feed on your connected monitor or the Hisee Cloud app.

4. Physical Installation

The cameras and solar panels are designed for easy installation. Drill 3 holes for each mount, secure the mounts, and then attach the cameras and solar panels. Adjust the brackets to achieve the desired angle for both surveillance and optimal sunlight exposure for the solar panel.

The system utilizes Wi-Fi Pro technology, which automatically selects the optimal network channel for longer transmission distances and a more stable signal. Both 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi are supported.

Operating the System

1. Monitoring and Access

• Local Monitoring: View live feeds directly on a connected TV/monitor via HDMI. Use the included USB mouse to navigate the interface.
• Remote Access: Download the Hisee Cloud app on your smartphone or tablet for remote viewing and control. The system also supports PC access.

2. Recording Modes

The system supports multiple recording modes:

• Triggered Recording: Records when motion is detected. You can customize recording durations (e.g., 5s, 10s, 30s). This mode optimizes battery life.
• Continuous Recording (Wired Mode): When cameras are connected to a power source, they can record continuously 24/7.

3. Motion Detection and Alerts

• PIR/AI Detection: The system uses Passive Infrared (PIR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to detect human and vehicle motion, reducing false alarms from pets or leaves. AI detection for specific categories (e.g., pets) may require an upgraded cloud plan.
• Adjustable Sensitivity: Customize the motion detection sensitivity to suit your environment and minimize unwanted alerts.
• Custom Detection Period: Set specific times for monitoring or when you prefer not to be disturbed.
• Alerts: Receive instant notifications on your phone. The cameras can also trigger a 120dB siren and white light alarm to deter intruders.

4. Two-Way Talk

The cameras and Base Station feature built-in speakers and microphones, enabling two-way communication. You can speak to visitors or deter intruders directly through the app or connected monitor.

5. Privacy and Sharing

• Customized Privacy Area: Exclude specific areas from surveillance to protect privacy.
• Family Sharing: Share access to your camera system with family members through the app.

6. Alexa Integration

The system is compatible with Amazon Alexa. You can use voice commands to view camera feeds on compatible Alexa-enabled devices.

Maintenance

1. Solar Panel Care

Ensure solar panels receive at least 4 hours of direct sunlight daily for continuous operation. Regularly clean the surface of the solar panels to remove dust, dirt, or debris that may obstruct sunlight absorption.

2. Battery Life

The cameras are equipped with 5200mAh batteries. In rainy or cloudy conditions, the optimized detection algorithm allows for 1-3 months of working time. If prolonged cloudy weather occurs, you may need to manually recharge the cameras using the USB cable.

3. Storage Management

The Base Station comes with a pre-installed 1TB HDD, offering over 36 months of recording. You can expand storage up to a 256GB SD card or an 8TB HDD (2.5-inch only). Regularly review and delete old recordings if necessary to manage storage space, especially if not expanding the storage.

Troubleshooting

1. Camera "Out of Range"

If a camera frequently shows as "out of range," it may be too far from the Base Station or have too many obstructions (e.g., multiple walls). Try relocating the camera closer to the Base Station or to a location with fewer physical barriers. The Wi-Fi Pro technology aims to optimize signal, but extreme distances or interference can still affect connectivity.

2. App Slow to Load Live Video

Slow live video loading can be due to network congestion, weak Wi-Fi signal at the camera or Base Station, or internet speed issues. Ensure your home Wi-Fi network is stable and has sufficient bandwidth. Try restarting your router and the Base Station. If using mobile data, check your cellular signal strength.

3. False Motion Alerts

If you are receiving too many false alerts (e.g., from leaves, small animals), adjust the motion detection sensitivity settings in the Hisee Cloud app. You can also define specific privacy zones to exclude areas where motion is not relevant, or set custom detection schedules to only receive alerts during certain times.

4. No Night Vision

Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from obstructions. Check the camera settings in the app to confirm that night vision is enabled. The system offers 2K color night vision, which requires sufficient ambient light or the camera's built-in white light to activate for color. In complete darkness, it will switch to infrared (black and white) night vision.
