- User-Friendly Features: Large backlit LCD screens ensure clear readability. Unique hold function locks readings for easy recording. Memory function preserves settings after power interruptions.
- Multiple Applications: Ideal for monitoring drinking water, swimming pools, spas, RO systems, hydroponics systems, aquariums, and more.
Setup
Battery Installation
The meters typically come with batteries pre-installed. If not, or if replacement is needed, gently slide open the battery compartment cover on the back of the meter. Insert the specified button cell batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
Initial Preparation
Before first use, remove the protective cap from the electrode. Rinse the electrode with distilled water and gently blot dry with a clean tissue. It is recommended to perform a calibration before the first measurement for optimal accuracy.
Operating Instructions
pH Meter Operation
- Turn on the pH meter by pressing the "ON/OFF" button.
- Immerse the electrode into the solution to be tested. Ensure the electrode is fully submerged but do not immerse the entire meter.
- Gently stir the solution and wait for the reading to stabilize on the LCD screen.
- Press the "HOLD" button to lock the reading for easier viewing and recording. Press "HOLD" again to release.
- After use, rinse the electrode with distilled water and replace the protective cap.

TDS/EC/Temperature Meter Operation
- Turn on the TDS meter by pressing the "ON/OFF" button.
- Press the "MODE" button to switch between TDS (ppm), EC (µS/cm), and Temperature (°C/°F) display modes.
- Immerse the electrode into the solution to be tested. Ensure the electrode is fully submerged.
- Gently stir the solution and wait for the reading to stabilize.
- Press the "HOLD/CAL" button briefly to lock the reading. Press again to release.
- After use, rinse the electrode with distilled water and replace the protective cap.

Calibration
Regular calibration ensures the accuracy of your meters. Calibration powders are included for pH meter calibration. TDS meter calibration requires a 1413 µS/cm standard solution (purchased separately).
pH Meter Calibration (Three-Point Recommended)
- Prepare three separate solutions using the provided pH 4.00, pH 6.86, and pH 9.18 buffer powders, each dissolved in 250ml of distilled water.
- Turn on the pH meter.
- Immerse the electrode into the pH 6.86 buffer solution.
- Press and hold the "CAL" button until the display flashes "CAL" and then the pH value. Release the button. The meter will automatically recognize the buffer and calibrate. Wait for the reading to stabilize and stop flashing.
- Rinse the electrode with distilled water.
- Repeat steps 3-4 for the pH 4.00 buffer solution.
- Rinse the electrode with distilled water.
- Repeat steps 3-4 for the pH 9.18 buffer solution.
- After successful calibration, the meter will return to measurement mode.

TDS Meter Calibration
- Prepare a 1413 µS/cm standard solution (not included, must be purchased separately).
- Turn on the TDS meter and switch to EC mode (µS/cm).
- Immerse the electrode into the 1413 µS/cm standard solution.
- Press and hold the "HOLD/CAL" button until the display flashes "CAL" and then the EC value. Release the button. The meter will automatically recognize the solution and calibrate. Wait for the reading to stabilize and stop flashing.
- Rinse the electrode with distilled water and replace the protective cap.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Always rinse the electrodes with distilled water after each use to prevent contamination. Do not use tap water or other cleaning agents.
- Storage: Store the meters with their protective caps on. For pH meters, keep the electrode moist by adding a few drops of pH storage solution or distilled water to the cap if storing for extended periods. Do not store dry.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the display becomes dim or the meter fails to power on. Ensure correct battery type and polarity.
- Calibration Frequency: Calibrate the pH meter regularly, especially if used frequently, if high accuracy is required, or if readings appear inconsistent. Calibrate the TDS meter as needed, typically less frequently than the pH meter.
Troubleshooting
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure the meter is properly calibrated.
- Check if the electrode is clean and free from residue.
- Verify the sample temperature is within the meter's operating range.
- For pH meters, ensure the electrode is not dry; rehydrate if necessary.
- Meter Not Turning On/Dim Display:
- Replace the batteries.
- Check battery polarity.
- Slow Response Time:
- The electrode might be dirty or aging. Clean or consider replacing the meter if it's old.
- Ensure the electrode is fully submerged in the solution.
- "ERR" Message During Calibration:
- Ensure the correct buffer solution is used for calibration.
- Verify the buffer solution is fresh and not expired.
- The electrode may be damaged or at the end of its lifespan.
