1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient installation, operation, and maintenance of your HOCANFLO 700PRO Upflush Macerating Toilet System. This system is designed to manage wastewater from a toilet and other fixtures in locations where gravity drainage is not feasible, such as basements, garages, or room additions. It features a powerful macerator pump and a dual-flush toilet for optimal performance and water conservation.
2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Installation
The HOCANFLO 700PRO system allows for flexible installation in various environments. The macerator pump can lift waste vertically up to 29.8 feet and pump horizontally up to 320 feet.

4.1. Connecting Fixtures
The 700PRO macerator pump features 5 separate inlets, allowing connection to multiple fixtures:
- Toilet inlet
- Two water inlets for sinks (kitchen/bathroom)
- One water inlet for a washing machine
- One water inlet for a laundry unit or shower
Ensure unused inlets are sealed with the provided caps to prevent leaks.

4.2. Discharge Pipe Routing
The system can pump waste vertically and horizontally. Ensure the discharge pipe has a minimum slope of 2-3% for horizontal runs to facilitate flow. Refer to the diagram for typical pumping distances.

5. Operating Instructions
The HOCANFLO 700PRO system operates automatically once installed and connected to power.

5.1. Toilet Operation
The toilet features a dual-flush mechanism for water efficiency. Press the appropriate button for a partial or full flush. The macerator pump will automatically activate to grind and pump waste when water enters the unit.

5.2. Macerator Pump Operation
The macerator pump automatically activates when wastewater from connected fixtures (toilet, sink, shower, washing machine) reaches a certain level. The powerful copper motor and grinder blades process solid waste and pump it through the discharge pipe.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your HOCANFLO 700PRO system.
6.1. Deodorization System
The macerator pump includes a built-in deodorization system with activated carbon to keep your bathroom odor-free. Replace the activated carbon periodically as needed.

6.2. Access and Cleaning
The pump unit features a top access repair panel for easy inspection and maintenance. In case of a blockage or issue, this panel allows for direct access to the grinder mechanism.

6.3. Check Valve
The system includes a built-in check valve to prevent backflow of wastewater into the fixtures.

6.4. Emergency Manual Drain
In the event of a power outage or pump malfunction, an emergency manual drain is available to prevent overflow.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your HOCANFLO 700PRO system, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Pump not activating: Check power supply. Ensure the water level switch is not obstructed.
- Loud noise during operation: This could indicate a foreign object in the grinder. Disconnect power and inspect the grinder through the top access panel.
- Slow drainage or no drainage: Check for blockages in the inlet pipes or discharge pipe. Ensure the check valve is functioning correctly.
- Odor: Replace the activated carbon in the deodorization system. Ensure all connections are sealed properly.
