Important Safety Instructions

Operating Instructions

Basic Toasting:

1. Insert bread slices into the toasting slots. Ensure bread is centered and not overlapping.
2. Select the desired bread type on the digital touchscreen for the corresponding slots.
3. Adjust the shade setting (1-6) using the touchscreen controls. Lower numbers yield lighter toast, higher numbers yield darker toast.
4. Press the carriage lever down until it locks into place. The toasting cycle will begin.
5. When the toasting cycle is complete, the bread will automatically pop up.
6. To stop the cycle at any time, press the "Cancel" button on the touchscreen.

Special Functions:

• Defrost: For frozen bread, insert bread, select bread type and shade, then press the "Defrost" button before lowering the carriage lever. The toaster will automatically adjust the toasting time.
• Reheat: To warm already toasted bread, insert bread, then press the "Reheat" button before lowering the carriage lever. This function warms without further browning.
• Single-Slice Mode: When toasting only one slice of bread in a pair of slots, select the "Single-Slice" option on the touchscreen. This optimizes heat distribution for even toasting of a single slice.

Note: The dual digital touchscreens allow independent operation of the left two slots and the right two slots. You can toast different items with different settings simultaneously.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning:

1. Always unplug the toaster from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Crumb Trays: Pull out the crumb trays located at the bottom of the toaster. Dispose of crumbs and wipe the trays clean with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly before reinserting.
3. Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the toaster with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as they may scratch the stainless steel finish.
4. Interior: Do not insert any objects into the toasting slots to clean. If food becomes lodged, unplug the toaster and carefully turn it upside down to dislodge.
5. Never immerse the toaster in water or any other liquid.

Storage:

Ensure the toaster is clean and completely cool before storing. Store the toaster in a dry, clean place. The power cord can be wrapped around the cord storage area (if available) at the bottom of the unit.
