Setup

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

  • Press the ON/OFF button to turn the scale on.

  • Press the UNIT button to cycle through the available units: g, kg, ml, lb, oz, lb:oz, and fl'oz.
  • The selected unit will be displayed on the LED screen.

3. Tare Function (Zero/Add & Weigh)

The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or to weigh multiple ingredients consecutively in the same bowl.

  1. Place an empty container on the weighing platform.
  2. Press the TARE button. The display will reset to "0.0g".
  3. Add your first ingredient to the container. The scale will display its weight.
  4. To add another ingredient, press the TARE button again to zero the scale, then add the next ingredient. Repeat as needed.

4. Percentage Function

This function is useful for recipes requiring ingredients in specific percentages relative to a base ingredient.

  3. Add your second ingredient. The scale will instantly display its weight as a percentage of the base ingredient. For example, if you add 300.7g, the display will show "300.7%".
  4. To exit percentage mode, press and hold the % button again.

5. Counting Function (PCS)

This function is suitable for counting small, uniform items like coins, screws, or beads. (Note: Not intended for commercial sale.)

  1. Turn on the scale and ensure it is at "0.0g".
  2. Place a sample quantity of items (e.g., 25, 50, 75, or 100 pieces) on the platform.
  3. Press and hold the PCS button until "PCS" appears on the display.
  4. Press the UNIT button to select the sample quantity you placed (e.g., "25", "50").
  5. Press the PCS button again to confirm. The scale is now calibrated for counting.
  6. Add the items you wish to count. The display will show the number of pieces.
  7. To exit counting mode, press the PCS button.
