The BAKAJI heater offers two installation options: freestanding or wall-mounted.

4.1 Freestanding Installation

  1. Assemble the base by attaching the stand pole sections securely.
  2. Attach the heater head to the top of the assembled stand pole. Ensure it is firmly secured and the angle can be adjusted as desired.
  3. Adjust the height of the stand pole between 1.8m and 2.1m using the provided adjustment mechanism.
  4. Place the assembled heater on a stable, level surface, ensuring it is away from any flammable materials.

4.2 Wall-Mounted Installation

If you choose to wall-mount the heater, ensure the wall material can support the weight of the unit and that there is a suitable power outlet nearby.

  1. Identify a suitable location on a wall, ensuring sufficient clearance from ceilings, corners, and flammable materials.
  2. Mark the drilling points for the wall mounting bracket.
  3. Drill holes and securely attach the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate screws and wall plugs (not always included).
  4. Attach the heater head to the wall mounting bracket, ensuring it is securely fastened.

5. Operating Instructions

Once the heater is securely installed and plugged into a suitable power outlet, you can begin operation.

  1. Power On: Pull the control switch once to turn on the heater at the lowest power setting (650W).
  2. Adjust Power:
    • Pull the switch a second time for medium power (1350W).
    • Pull the switch a third time for maximum power (2000W).
  3. Power Off: Pull the switch a fourth time to turn off the heater.
  4. Anti-Tip Safety: If the freestanding heater is accidentally knocked over, the integrated anti-tip switch will automatically shut off the unit for safety. Stand the heater upright to resume operation.
