4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the Dyness PPS300-4. This ensures optimal battery performance and calibration.

  1. Connect the provided AC charging cable to the power station's input port.
  2. Plug the other end into a standard wall outlet.
  3. The LCD display will show the charging status. Charge until the battery indicator shows 100%.

4.2 Placement

Place the power station on a stable, flat surface in a well-ventilated area. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near heat sources.

5.1 Charging the Power Station

The Dyness PPS300-4 offers multiple charging options:

  • AC Wall Outlet: Connect the AC charging cable to a wall outlet. Full charge in approximately 3.5 hours.
  • Car Charger: Use the provided car cigarette cable to charge from your vehicle's 12V outlet. Full charge in approximately 3.5 hours.
  • Solar Panel (Optional): Connect a compatible solar panel (12V-28V DC input, up to 100W) to the DC input port. Full charge in approximately 3.5 hours (depending on sunlight intensity).
  • Dual Charging (AC + Solar): Combine AC wall charging with solar panel input for faster charging. Full charge in approximately 2 hours.

5.2 Using the Power Station to Power Devices

To use the output ports:

  1. Press the corresponding output button (AC or DC) to activate the desired ports. The button will illuminate when active.
  2. Plug your device into the appropriate port.
  3. The LCD display will show the output wattage and estimated remaining runtime.
  4. To turn off an output, press its button again.

The power station can deliver up to 300W of continuous AC power and has a 600W peak surge capacity. Ensure your devices do not exceed these limits.

5.3 Pass-Through Charging

The Dyness PPS300-4 supports pass-through charging, allowing you to charge the power station while simultaneously powering external devices.

5.4 LED Emergency Light

Press the LED light button to cycle through three brightness levels and an SOS mode. Press and hold to turn off.
