Setup

1. Install Batteries

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer.
  2. Open the battery cover.
  3. Insert two new 1.5V AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Securely close the battery cover to maintain the waterproof seal.

2. Attach to Faucet

  1. Ensure the faucet is clean and free of debris.
  2. Screw the timer's brass inlet securely onto your outdoor garden faucet. Hand-tighten only; do not overtighten.
  3. Attach your garden hoses to the two brass outlets at the bottom of the timer.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting the Current Time

Press the "NOW" button. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the current hour and minute. Press "OK" to confirm.

2. Selecting a Zone

Press the "ZONE" button to cycle between Zone 1, Zone 2, or Both Zones. The selected zone(s) will be indicated on the display.

3. Programming Automatic Watering (Cycle Mode)

The timer offers two automatic cycle modes: Hour-based and Day-based.

  1. Set Start Time: Press "START TIME". Use "+" and "-" to set the desired start hour and minute. Press "OK".
  2. Set Watering Duration ("HOW LONG"): Press "HOW LONG". Use "+" and "-" to set the watering duration from 1 to 360 minutes. Press "OK".
  3. Set Watering Frequency ("HOW OFTEN"): Press "HOW OFTEN".
    • For Hour Cycle Mode: Use "+" and "-" to set frequency from every 1 hour to every 23 hours.
    • For Day Cycle Mode: Use "+" and "-" to set frequency from every 1 day to every 15 days.
    Press "OK" to confirm.

4. Manual Watering Mode

This mode allows for immediate, temporary watering without affecting your programmed schedule.

  1. Press the "MANUAL" button.
  2. Use "+" and "-" to set the desired manual watering duration (1-360 minutes).
  3. Press "OK" to start manual watering.
  4. To stop manual watering, press "ESC/OFF".

5. Rain Delay Mode

Pause your watering schedule for a set period during rainy weather to save water.

  1. Press the "DELAY" button.
  2. Use "+" and "-" to select the delay duration (1 to 15 days).
  3. Press "OK" to activate the rain delay. The timer will resume its programmed schedule automatically after the delay period.
  4. To cancel rain delay, press "ESC/OFF".

6. Child Lock Function

To prevent unintended changes to your settings:

  1. Press and hold the "OK" button for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate the child lock. A lock icon will appear on the display when active.

Maintenance

  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the LCD screen. Always use new 1.5V AA alkaline batteries.
  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the stainless steel filter at the inlet to prevent blockages. Remove the timer from the faucet, unscrew the filter, rinse it under running water, and reinsert.
  • Winter Storage: Before freezing temperatures, disconnect the timer from the faucet and hoses. Drain any remaining water and store the timer indoors in a dry, frost-free location. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods.
  • Avoid Chemicals: Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on the timer, as this may damage the housing or seals.
