Setup

1. Battery Installation (Transmitter)

The X6 transmitter requires 4 AA batteries. Alternatively, a 2S LiPo battery can be used for extended operation. Ensure correct polarity when inserting AA batteries. If using a LiPo battery, connect it to the designated port within the battery compartment.

2. Receiver Connection

Connect the P6FG receiver to your RC vehicle's Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) and servos according to your vehicle's specific wiring diagram. Ensure all connections are secure.

3. Binding the Transmitter and Receiver

  1. Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are powered off.
  2. Connect the bind plug to the 'BIND' port on the P6FG receiver.
  3. Power on your RC vehicle (which powers the receiver). The receiver's LED should flash rapidly.
  4. While holding down the 'BIND' button on the X6 transmitter, power on the transmitter.
  5. Release the 'BIND' button on the transmitter once the receiver's LED turns solid, indicating a successful bind.
  6. Power off both the transmitter and receiver, then remove the bind plug from the receiver.
  7. Power on the transmitter first, then the receiver, to confirm the binding is successful.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Controls

  • Channel 1 (Direction): Controls steering (left/right).
  • Channel 2 (Throttle): Controls forward, backward, and braking.
  • Channel 3 (Control Positive/Negative Output): Typically used for auxiliary functions.
  • Channel 4 (Tap Position): Typically used for auxiliary functions.
  • Channel 5: Auxiliary channel, often controlled by a switch or knob.
  • Channel 6 (Gyro Sensitivity Adjustment): Adjusts the sensitivity of the integrated gyroscope.

2. Trim Adjustments

Use the ST.TRIM (Steering Trim) and TH.TRIM (Throttle Trim) dials on the transmitter to fine-tune the neutral positions of your steering and throttle. Adjust these to ensure your vehicle tracks straight and remains stationary when the throttle is at neutral.

3. Gyro Sensitivity Adjustment

The P6FG receiver's integrated gyroscope helps stabilize your vehicle. Adjust the Channel 6 knob to increase or decrease the gyro's effect. Higher sensitivity provides more stability but can feel less responsive; lower sensitivity allows for more direct control but less assistance.

4. Throttle Speed Limit

The throttle speed limit function allows you to reduce the maximum throttle output, which is beneficial for beginners or when operating in confined spaces. Refer to the transmitter's specific controls for adjusting this limit.

5. ABS Setting

The ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) setting provides advanced tuning options for braking characteristics, including frequencies, cycles, and trigger points. This allows for more controlled braking, especially on slippery surfaces.

Maintenance

  • Keep the transmitter and receiver clean and free from dust and moisture.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Remove batteries from the transmitter if not in use for extended periods to prevent leakage.
  • Regularly check all wires and connections for signs of wear or damage.

Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Check transmitter batteries and ensure they are correctly installed. Verify the vehicle's power source is connected and charged.
  • No Control/Intermittent Control: Re-bind the transmitter and receiver. Check for interference from other 2.4GHz devices. Ensure the transmitter and receiver are within operational range.
  • Vehicle Drifts: Adjust steering trim (ST.TRIM) on the transmitter. If the P6FG receiver's gyro is active, adjust its sensitivity (Channel 6).
  • Unresponsive Controls: Check all servo and ESC connections to the receiver. Ensure servos are not jammed or damaged.
