6. Installation

6.1 Mounting

The GEYA GPS6-VAK protector is designed for 35mm DIN rail mounting. Ensure the DIN rail is securely fastened within an electrical enclosure or distribution box.

  1. Align the device's mounting clip with the DIN rail.
  2. Press the device firmly onto the rail until the clip engages and locks it in place.
  3. Verify that the device is stable and does not wobble.

6.2 Wiring Diagram

Connect the device according to the following single-phase wiring diagram. Ensure all connections are tight and secure to prevent loose contacts and potential hazards.

7.1 Accessing Settings

Press and hold the SET button for a few seconds to enter the parameter setting mode. Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to navigate through different parameters.

7.2 Adjusting Parameters

  1. Once in setting mode, press SET to select a parameter (e.g., Overvoltage threshold, Undervoltage threshold, Overcurrent threshold, Reset Time).
  2. Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to adjust the value.
  3. Press SET again to confirm the value and move to the next parameter or exit the setting mode.
  4. If no button is pressed for a certain period, the device may automatically exit the setting mode, saving the changes.

  • Current (A): Displays the real-time load current. (Note: Current value may not be displayed if below 1A).
  • KWH: Displays the cumulative Kilowatt-hour consumption. (Note: KWH may not be displayed if below 0.01).
  • Status Indicators: LEDs or symbols on the screen may indicate normal operation, overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, or other fault conditions.

8.2 Protection and Recovery

When a fault condition (overvoltage, undervoltage, or overcurrent) is detected, the device will automatically cut off the power supply to the load to prevent damage. After the voltage or current returns to normal within the set parameters and the configured reset time has elapsed, the device will automatically restore power.

The power button can also be used for manual power on/off or to manually reset the device after a trip, if allowed by the current fault state.

9. Maintenance

The GEYA GPS6-VAK protector requires minimal maintenance to ensure long-term reliable operation.
