3. Setup
The Lotto Runex R4 treadmill comes 95% pre-assembled. Follow these steps to complete the setup:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the treadmill from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for potential future transport or storage.
- Positioning: Place the treadmill on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 2 meters (6.5 feet) of clear space behind the treadmill and 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) on each side.
- Unfolding:
- Gently lift the console and handrail assembly until it locks into the upright position.
- Ensure all locking mechanisms are securely engaged.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the treadmill's power inlet and then to a grounded electrical outlet.
- Safety Key: Attach the safety key clip to your clothing and place the magnetic end onto the designated area on the console. The treadmill will not operate without the safety key in place.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Console Functions
The LED console displays key workout metrics and allows control over the treadmill's functions.
- Display: Shows Speed, Time, Distance, Calories, and Pulse.
- START/PAUSE Button: Press to start or pause your workout.
- STOP Button: Press to stop the treadmill. In an emergency, pull the safety key.
- SPEED +/- Buttons: Adjust the running belt speed from 1 to 14 km/h.
- PROG (Program) Button: Select from 12 pre-set workout programs.
- MODE Button: Cycle through display modes or set target values for time, distance, or calories.
- Pulse Sensors: Grip the handrail sensors to measure your heart rate.
- USB/AUX Ports: For charging devices or connecting external audio.
- Speakers: Integrated speakers for audio playback.
- Tablet/Smartphone Holder: Securely holds your device during workouts.
4.2 Starting a Workout
- Ensure the treadmill is plugged in and the safety key is attached to the console and your clothing.
- Step onto the side rails of the treadmill.
- Press the START/PAUSE button. The treadmill will begin at a low speed.
- Gradually increase the speed using the SPEED +/- buttons to your desired pace.

4.5 Folding and Storage
