5. Setup
5.1 Power Connection
- Connect the provided USB power adapter to the USB-C POWER port on the rear panel of the E50 II.
- Plug the power adapter into a suitable wall outlet.
5.2 Input Connections
The E50 II supports multiple digital audio inputs:
- USB Input: Connect your computer or other USB audio source to the USB-C DATA port using a USB cable.
- Coaxial Input: Connect a coaxial digital audio source to the COAXIAL port.
- Optical Input: Connect an optical digital audio source to the OPTICAL port.
- Bluetooth Input: Screw the Bluetooth antenna onto the BT connector on the rear panel. Enable Bluetooth on your source device and pair with "E50 II".
5.3 Output Connections
The E50 II offers both balanced and unbalanced analog outputs:
- Balanced Outputs (TRS): Connect to balanced inputs of an amplifier or active speakers using 6.35mm TRS cables.
- Unbalanced Outputs (RCA): Connect to unbalanced inputs of an amplifier or active speakers using RCA cables.

6. Operation
6.1 Basic Controls
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the front panel button to power the device on or off.
- Input Selection: Short press the front panel button to cycle through available inputs (USB, Coaxial, Optical, Bluetooth).
- Volume Control: If in Preamp mode, use the remote control to adjust the volume.
6.2 App Control (TOPPING Home)
The TOPPING E50 II can be controlled via the TOPPING Home smartphone app, offering comprehensive settings adjustments.

6.3 Parametric Equalizer (PEQ)
The E50 II features a 10-band high-precision parametric equalizer. This can be configured via the TOPPING software (accessible through the app or a dedicated computer application) to fine-tune the frequency response. You can adjust frequency bands, gain, and Q factor independently for left and right channels, save user profiles, and import target curves.
