5. Maintenance

5.1 Lubrication

Regular lubrication is essential for smooth operation and extending the lifespan of your treadmill. Use the provided lubricant as follows:

  1. Power off and unplug the device.
  2. Tilt the device to the side and gently lift the edge of the running belt.
  3. Apply the lubricant evenly between the belt and the base.
  4. Flip to the other side and repeat the above process.
  5. Plug in the device and run it at 1.2 mph for 1-2 minutes to ensure full absorption and even spreading of the lubricant.

Lubrication Frequency:

  • Less than 3 hours/week: Every 6 months
  • 3-5 hours/week: Every 3 months
  • More than 5 hours/week: Every month

Regular lubrication is crucial for maintaining the treadmill's performance. Lift the edge of the running belt and apply the provided lubricant evenly. Run the treadmill at 1.2 mph for 1-2 minutes to distribute the oil.

5.2 Belt Adjustment

If the running belt drifts or becomes loose, use the provided L-shaped wrench to adjust the hexagonal screws on the rear end cap. Do not touch the screws on the front end cap.

  • If belt drifts to the left: Turn the left screw clockwise by 1/4 turn.
  • If belt drifts to the right: Turn the right screw clockwise by 1/4 turn.
  • If belt is loose: Turn both screws clockwise by 1/2 turn at a time.

After adjustment, run the device for 1-2 minutes at 2 mph to verify the effect and adjust again if needed. Over-tightening the running belt may damage the motor and cause abnormal operation.

5.3 Cleaning

Apply a mild cleaner to a soft cotton cloth. Do not spray directly on the running belt or use acidic cleaners. Clean the device's surface only. Do not clean under the running belt. For stain removal, stains usually accumulate at the tail end; simply wipe this area clean.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Sperax RM-01 Walking Treadmill Pad, consider the following basic troubleshooting steps:

  • No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the treadmill and the electrical outlet. Check the main power switch on the treadmill. Verify remote control batteries are correctly inserted and charged.
