2. Important Safety Information

4. Initial Setup
Follow these steps before using your espresso machine for the first time:
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and place the machine on a stable, flat surface.
- Clean: Wash the water reservoir, drip tray, and used capsule container with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Fill Water Reservoir: Fill the removable water reservoir with fresh, potable water up to the MAX fill line. Ensure it is securely placed back on the machine.
- Power On: Plug the machine into a grounded electrical outlet. Press the power button. The brewing buttons will flash as the machine preheats.
- Initial Rinse Cycle: Place a large cup under the coffee outlet. Once the brewing buttons illuminate steadily (indicating preheating is complete), press either the Espresso or Lungo button to run a cycle without a capsule. This cleans the internal system. Repeat this process 2-3 times.

5. Operating Instructions
Brewing espresso or lungo with your CHULUX Bafè-Pro is a simple one-touch process:
- Ensure Water: Make sure the water reservoir is filled with fresh water.
- Power On & Preheat: Press the power button. The machine will begin preheating, indicated by flashing brewing buttons. Wait for the buttons to illuminate steadily (approximately 15-20 seconds).
- Insert Capsule: Lift the lever to open the capsule compartment. Insert a Nespresso Original Pod. Close the lever firmly.
- Place Cup: Place your desired cup under the coffee outlet. The foldable drip tray can be adjusted for taller cups.
- Select Brew: Press the Espresso button for a standard shot or the Lungo button for a longer coffee. The machine will automatically brew and stop.
- Capsule Ejection: After brewing, lift the lever again to automatically eject the used capsule into the internal container. Close the lever.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your espresso machine.
Daily Cleaning
- Empty Used Capsule Container: Lift the lever to eject any remaining capsules. Remove the used capsule container and dispose of the capsules. Wash the container with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry.
- Clean Drip Tray: Remove the drip tray and empty any collected liquid. Wash with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry.
- Wipe Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the machine in water.

Descaling (Monthly or as needed)
Descaling is important to remove mineral buildup and maintain machine performance. Use a descaling solution specifically designed for coffee machines and follow the product's instructions. Generally, the process involves:
- Empty the water reservoir and used capsule container.
- Fill the water reservoir with descaling solution mixed with water according to the descaler's instructions.
- Place a large container under the coffee outlet.
- Run several brewing cycles until the reservoir is empty.
- Rinse the reservoir thoroughly and fill with fresh water.
- Run several cycles with fresh water to rinse out any descaling residue.
