Introduction

Thank you for choosing the SOOPYK Bottom Load Water Cooler Dispenser Ice Maker, Model BYCZ623. This appliance is designed to provide convenient access to cold and room temperature water, along with a built-in ice maker. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and operation to ensure proper use and maintenance.

Important Safety Information

• This appliance is for indoor use only.
• Ensure the unit is placed on a flat, stable surface.
• Leave adequate space (at least 4 inches) between the back of the unit and the wall for proper ventilation and cooling.
• Do not operate the unit if the power cord is damaged. Contact qualified service personnel for repair.
• Always unplug the unit before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
• This model provides COLD and ROOM TEMPERATURE water only. It DOES NOT have a hot water function.
• The built-in ice maker produces ice but does NOT keep it frozen. Ice should be used promptly or transferred to a freezer.
• Keep children away from the appliance during operation and maintenance.

Product Features

• Cold and Room Temperature Water: Offers options for crisp cold water and ambient room-temperature water. Note: This model does not dispense hot water.
• Built-in Ice Maker: Produces bullet-shaped ice, with a daily capacity of up to 17 lbs and an internal storage capacity of 0.7 lbs. Ice is not kept frozen and should be used or stored elsewhere.
• Empty Bottle Alert: An indicator light notifies you when the water bottle needs replacement.

Setup

1. Unpacking and Placement

1. Carefully remove the water cooler from its packaging.
2. Place the unit on a level, sturdy surface in a well-ventilated area. Ensure there is at least 4 inches of clearance from walls or other objects to allow for proper heat dissipation.
3. Clean the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.

2. Installing the Water Bottle

1. Open the bottom compartment door of the water cooler.
2. Remove the cap from your 3-gallon or 5-gallon water bottle.
3. Insert the stainless steel probe (water pump tube) into the neck of the water bottle. Ensure it is securely in place.
4. Slide the water bottle into the bottom compartment.
5. Close the compartment door completely. The unit has a sensor that prevents operation if the door is not fully closed.

3. Initial Power-On

1. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
2. Allow the unit to sit for at least 15-30 minutes before turning on any functions to allow the refrigerant to settle.
3. Press the 'Power' button on the control panel to turn on the unit.
4. Press the 'Water Cooling' button to activate the cold water function.
5. Press the 'Make Ice' button to activate the ice making function.

Operating Instructions

• Power Button: Turns the unit on/off.
• Ice Indicator: Lights up when ice making is active.
• Cold Water Indicator: Lights up when cold water function is active.
• Add Water Indicator: Flashes when the water bottle is empty and needs replacement.
• Water Cooling Button: Activates/deactivates the cold water function.
• Make Ice Button: Activates/deactivates the ice making function.
• Ice Fill Button: Dispenses ice cubes.
• Water Fill Button: Dispenses cold or room temperature water.

Dispensing Water

1. Place a cup or glass under the water spout.
2. To dispense cold water, ensure the 'Water Cooling' function is active (indicator light on). Press the 'Water Fill' button.
3. To dispense room temperature water, ensure the 'Water Cooling' function is OFF. Press the 'Water Fill' button.

Making and Dispensing Ice

1. Ensure the water bottle is full and the unit is powered on.
2. Press the 'Make Ice' button to start the ice production cycle. The 'Ice' indicator light will illuminate.
3. Ice production takes approximately 6 minutes per cycle.
4. When ice is ready, place a cup or glass under the ice dispenser.
5. Press the 'Ice Fill' button to dispense ice cubes.
6. The unit will automatically stop making ice if the ice bin is full.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Drip Tray

1. The drip tray is removable for easy cleaning.
2. Pull the drip tray forward to remove it from the unit.
3. Empty any accumulated water and wash the tray with mild soap and warm water.
4. Rinse thoroughly and dry before reinserting.

2. General Cleaning

1. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
2. Wipe down the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
