Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for safe and proper installation of your outdoor ceiling fan.
1. Choose a Mounting Location
Select a sturdy outdoor location such as a patio, porch, gazebo, or pergola. Ensure the mounting surface can support the fan's weight and provides adequate clearance for the fan blades.
2. Simple Installation Steps
- Step 1: Use screws to drive into the ceiling. Ensure the screws are appropriate for your ceiling material (e.g., wood, concrete).
- Step 2: Install the coupling cover onto the downrod.
- Step 3: Insert the downrod pin and tighten the screws on the yoke to secure the downrod to the fan motor housing.
- Step 4: Suspend the fan on the mount bracket. Carefully lift the fan and hook it onto the pre-installed mounting bracket.
- Step 5: Move the coupling cover downwards to conceal the wiring and mounting hardware.
- Step 6: Hang the power cord on the hook to manage excess cable and ensure it is not dangling.

3. Power Connection
Plug the 9.84-foot power cord into a suitable outdoor-rated electrical outlet. No hardwiring is needed for this plug-in model.

Operating Instructions
Your LEDIARY outdoor ceiling fan can be controlled via the included remote control or a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone app.
1. Remote Control Functions
The remote control allows for comprehensive fan and light adjustments.
- ALL OFF: Turns off both fan and light.
- Forward/Reverse: Changes fan blade rotation direction for summer (forward, cooling) or winter (reverse, warm air circulation).
- Fan Speed (1-6): Adjusts fan speed from 1 (soft wind) to 6 (cool wind).
- Fan On/Off: Turns the fan on or off.
- Main Light On/Off: Turns the main LED light on or off.
- Main Light Brightness +/-: Dims or brightens the main LED light (10% to 100%).

- RGB Light On/Off: Turns the RGB ambient light on or off.

- 1H / 4H Timer: Sets the fan to turn off automatically after 1 or 4 hours.

2. App Control (Bluetooth)
For advanced control and customization, download the "Smart Life" app.
- Step 1: Scan the QR code below or search for "Smart Life" in your app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) to download the app.
- Step 2: Long press the remote control's pairing button for 5 seconds. The fan's light will flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
- Step 3: Open the Smart Life app, click "Add device" or the "+" icon to add a new device. The app should automatically detect the fan.
