Setup

1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the Bosean T-Z01 Pro. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the Type-C interface on the device and the other end to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The battery indicator on the display will show charging status. A full charge typically takes a few hours.

2. Powering On/Off

To power on the device, press and hold the Power Switch button located on the side. The display will light up. To power off, press and hold the Power Switch button again until the display turns off.

3. Initial Placement

Place the monitor on a stable, flat surface using its integrated support frame. Ensure it is in an area representative of the air quality you wish to measure, away from direct airflow from vents, windows, or strong chemical sources that could skew readings.

Operating Instructions

1. Understanding the Display

The main display provides real-time readings for various parameters. Refer to the image below for a detailed breakdown of the display elements:

  • Temperature: Current ambient temperature.
  • Humidity: Current ambient relative humidity.
  • HCHO Concentration: Formaldehyde levels in mg/m³.
  • PM2.5 Concentration: Particulate matter 2.5 levels in µg/m³.
  • CO Concentration: Carbon Monoxide levels in ppm.
  • CO2 Concentration: Carbon Dioxide levels in ppm.
  • TVOC Concentration: Total Volatile Organic Compounds levels in mg/m³.
  • AQI Index: Air Quality Index, indicating overall air quality level (Good, Slight, Moderate, Serious).
  • Battery Capacity: Icon indicating remaining battery life.
  • Speech State: Icon indicating if voice prompts are active.

2. Navigating Menus and Settings

Use the '<' and '>' buttons to navigate through menu options. The 'SET' button is used to select an option or confirm a setting. The 'Return' key allows you to go back to the previous screen or exit a menu.

3. Language Switching

The device supports switching between Chinese and English. Access the System Setup Interface (as shown in Figure 4) to change the language setting. Navigate to 'Language' and select your preferred option.

4. Voice Prompt and Alarm Function

The device provides live voice prompts and an alarm function for critical air quality levels. To toggle the voice prompts on or off, use the dedicated Mute On/Off button (refer to Figure 2). Alarm thresholds can typically be adjusted within the System Setup Interface under 'Alarm point'.

5. Viewing History Data

The Bosean T-Z01 Pro stores the last 8 hours of air quality data. To view this data, navigate to the History Record Interface (as shown in Figure 4) through the device's menu. This interface displays a graph of historical readings, allowing you to monitor trends over time.

6. Data Evaluation Function

The device includes a data evaluation function to help interpret the measured air quality. Consult the manual's specific section on data evaluation or the device's on-screen prompts for understanding these assessments.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Wipe the device's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water. Ensure the vents are clear of dust and debris to maintain accurate readings.

2. Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to charge the device periodically to maintain battery health.

3. Sensor Care

The sensors are delicate. Avoid exposing the device to high concentrations of pollutants for prolonged periods, as this can affect sensor lifespan and accuracy. Do not attempt to clean or tamper with the internal sensors.

Troubleshooting
