Setup

1. Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert the three 1.5V AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
2. Placement: Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid soft surfaces like carpets, which can affect accuracy.
3. Initial Calibration: For first-time use or if the scale has been moved, gently tap the scale with your foot to turn it on. Wait for the display to show "0.0" before stepping on it. This calibrates the scale.
4. Unit Selection: On the underside of the scale, locate the "UNIT" button. Press this button to cycle through available units (pounds (lb), kilograms (kg), stones (st)) until your desired unit is displayed.

Operating Instructions

1. Step-On Activation: Gently step onto the center of the scale. The display will activate automatically.
2. Weight Measurement: Stand still on the scale. Your weight will be displayed and flash a few times before settling on a final reading. The reading will remain on the display for approximately 10 seconds before turning off.
3. Consistent Readings: For the most consistent results, weigh yourself at the same time each day, preferably in the morning before eating or drinking, and with minimal clothing.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft tissue with alcohol or glass cleaner to wipe the surface. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or soap, as these may damage the tempered glass.
• Battery Replacement: When the display shows "Lo", it indicates low battery. Replace the three AAA batteries promptly to ensure continued accurate operation.
• Storage: Store the scale in a dry place, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

• Inaccurate Readings: Ensure the scale is placed on a hard, flat surface. Re-calibrate by tapping the scale to turn it on, waiting for "0.0", then stepping on.
