3. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Wooask M3 Translation Earbuds for first-time use:

1. Charge the Earbuds: Before initial use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case using the provided USB-A to Type-C charging cable.
2. Download the App: Download and install the "WasTrans" application on your mobile phone. The app is essential for accessing translation features and modes.
3. Pair with Bluetooth:
   • Open the earbud case and put on the earbuds.
   • Enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone.
   • Open the "WasTrans" app and select the Bluetooth device "WAS-M3" to pair.
4. Select Languages: Within the WasTrans app, set the corresponding languages for the two earbuds based on your communication needs.
5. Offline Language Packs: If you plan to use offline translation, download the necessary offline voice packages in advance through the WasTrans app. This ensures functionality in areas without network access.

4. Operating Modes

The Wooask M3 offers five distinct translation modes to suit various communication scenarios. These modes are accessible via the WasTrans app after successful pairing.

4.1. Touch Mode

In Touch Mode, each user wears one earbud. To speak, simply tap your earbud. The translation will be delivered to the other person's earbud. This mode facilitates natural, eye-to-eye conversations with instant two-way translation.

4.2. Speaker Mode (Headphone + Phone)

Speaker Mode is ideal for group settings or when only one person needs to wear an earbud. One user wears an earbud, and the phone acts as a speaker for the translated content. The other party speaks into the phone's microphone, and the translation is broadcast aloud for everyone to hear.

4.3. Free Talk Mode

Free Talk Mode allows for hands-free, continuous conversation. Both users wear an earbud, and the system automatically detects and translates speech without the need for manual button presses. This mode is designed for fluid, uninterrupted dialogue.

4.4. Offline Translation Mode

The Offline Translation Mode enables translation without an internet connection. This requires downloading specific language packages in advance through the WasTrans app. It supports 11 offline language packages, including Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Thai, Vietnamese, and Arabic. This mode is ideal for travel in remote areas or situations with unreliable network access.

4.5. Photo Translation Mode

Photo Translation Mode allows you to translate text from images. Simply take a photo of text (e.g., signs, menus, documents) using your phone's camera through the WasTrans app, and the app will provide an instant translation. This feature is useful for understanding written information in foreign languages.
