Operating Instructions: Jump Starting a Vehicle
Using Smart Alligator Clamp Cables
This method is suitable for most cars, SUVs, and trucks.
- Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and all accessories are unplugged.
- Connect the smart alligator clamp cables to the jump starter unit.
- Identify the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the vehicle's battery. The positive terminal is usually marked with a "+" symbol and is larger.
- Connect the RED positive (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Connect the BLACK negative (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery or to a solid, unpainted metal part of the vehicle's chassis away from the battery.
- Once connected, the jump starter's LED indicators will show "READY TO JUMP START" if the connection is correct. If an error is detected (e.g., reverse polarity), the unit will not activate.
- Start the vehicle's engine. If it does not start immediately, wait 30 seconds before attempting again. Do not crank for more than 3 seconds per attempt.
- Once the vehicle starts, disconnect the BLACK negative (-) clamp first, then the RED positive (+) clamp.
- Disconnect the smart alligator clamp cables from the jump starter unit.

Using the Ring Terminal Harness
The ring terminal harness provides a convenient, semi-permanent connection for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and boats.
- If not already installed, securely attach the ring terminals of the accessory cable to the corresponding battery terminals of your vehicle (red to positive, black to negative). Ensure the connection is tight.
- When ready to jump start, connect the quick-disconnect end of the ring terminal harness to the jump starter unit.
- Follow steps 6-8 from the "Using Smart Alligator Clamp Cables" section to start and disconnect.

- The jump starter will automatically begin charging your device.
- Disconnect your device once charging is complete.
