4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to have two people for certain steps.

1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Lay out all panels and hardware. Match each part to the corresponding label in the instructions.
2. Assemble the Base Cabinet: Connect the bottom panel, side panels, and back panel of the lower enclosure using the provided hardware (e.g., dowels and cam locks). Ensure all connections are tight.
3. Install Internal Shelf (Lower): Insert the adjustable shelf supports into the desired holes within the lower cabinet, then place the shelf.
4. Attach Cabinet Doors (Lower): Secure the hinges to the lower cabinet doors and then attach the doors to the main cabinet structure. Install door handles.
5. Assemble the Upper Enclosure: Construct the upper section, including its side panels, top panel, and internal platform.
6. Install Internal Shelf (Upper): Place the upper internal shelf into its designated position.
7. Attach Metal Grate Door (Upper): Secure the hinges for the metal grate door to the upper enclosure and attach the door.
8. Assemble the Side Ladder/Platform Unit: Connect the panels for the side unit, including the small platform and the metal grate ladder.
9. Connect Units: Securely attach the side ladder/platform unit to the main cabinet structure.
10. Install Adjustable Feet: Screw the adjustable feet into the bottom of the entire unit. Adjust them to ensure the enclosure is level and stable.

5. Operating Instructions

This enclosure is designed for versatility and ease of use.

• Litter Box Placement: Open the lower cabinet doors and place a standard-sized litter box (up to 22" L x 17" W) into the compartment. The internal height of 19.6" accommodates most litter boxes.
• Cat Access: Your cat can access the litter box through the arched side entrance or the front doors. The upper section provides a platform for resting or observation, accessible via the internal ladder.
• Ventilation: The enclosure features strategic ventilation holes to promote air circulation and help minimize odors. Ensure these holes are not obstructed.
• Multi-functional Use: The upper section can be used as a cat bed area, a feeding station, or a storage space for cat supplies.
