1. Introduction and Overview

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your Rolanstar Full Size Bed Frame. This bed frame features an upholstered headboard with integrated storage shelves, a charging station (2 USB ports & 1 USB-C port), and RGB LED lighting. It also includes two sliding storage drawers and a heavy-duty metal slat system designed for noise-free support without the need for a box spring.

2. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions carefully before assembly and use. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.

• Weight Capacity: The bed frame is designed to support a maximum weight of 1200 lbs (544.31 kg). Do not exceed this limit.
• Assembly: Ensure all components are correctly assembled and tightened according to the instructions. Periodically check and re-tighten all bolts and connections.
• Electrical Safety: The integrated charging station and LED lights require a power source. Ensure the power outlet used is easily accessible and meets local electrical safety standards. Do not overload the charging ports.
• Children: Keep small parts and packaging materials away from children during assembly.
• Mattress: Use a mattress with a recommended thickness of 6-10 inches for optimal fit and safety.

3. Package Contents

Before beginning assembly, verify that all parts are present and undamaged. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact customer support immediately.

4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly of the Rolanstar bed frame is designed to be straightforward with a bolt-free quick-lock system for the slats. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

1. Unpack and Organize: Carefully unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Group similar parts and hardware together.
2. Assemble Headboard: Follow the specific diagrams provided in your included paper manual to connect the headboard frame, upholstered panels, and storage shelves. Ensure the charging station is securely installed.
3. Attach Side Rails: Connect the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided hardware. Do not fully tighten all bolts until the entire frame is assembled.
4. Install Metal Slats: The metal slats feature a bolt-free quick-lock assembly system. Simply align and snap them into place on the side rails. Ensure all slats are securely seated to provide proper mattress support.
5. Assemble Drawers: Assemble the two sliding storage drawers according to the instructions. Ensure the wheels are properly attached and the latch design is functional to prevent accidental slipping out.
6. Install LED Lights: Adhere the LED light strip to the designated area on the headboard. Connect the controller and power supply.
7. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, go back and securely tighten all bolts and connections.
8. Air Out Fabric: It is advisable to air out the upholstered fabric components for a short period after unpacking to dissipate any new product odors.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. RGB LED Lighting System

The integrated RGB LED lighting system offers customizable ambiance for your bedroom. The controller is conveniently mounted on the headboard for easy access.

• Power On/Off: Use the designated power button on the controller to turn the LED lights on or off.
• Scene Modes: Cycle through 12 scene modes, which include 7 static colors and 5 dynamic color patterns.
• Speed Adjustment: For dynamic modes, adjust the speed through 3 available levels.
• Brightness Control: Adjust the brightness of the lights using 3 different brightness modes.

5.2. Headboard Charging Station

The headboard features a built-in charging station to conveniently power your devices.

• Ports: The charging station includes 2 USB-A ports and 1 USB-C port.
• Usage: Connect your compatible electronic devices (phones, tablets, small electronics) to the appropriate port for charging.
• Power Source: Ensure the bed frame is connected to a functional power outlet for the charging station to operate.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and appearance of your bed frame.

• Cleaning Fabric: For the upholstered headboard and drawers, gently vacuum with an upholstery attachment to remove dust. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
• Cleaning Metal: Wipe metal surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.
• Checking Connections: Periodically inspect all bolts and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as necessary to maintain stability and prevent noise.
• Drawer Maintenance: Keep the drawer tracks clean and free of debris to ensure smooth operation.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your bed frame, refer to the following common problems and solutions.

• Bed Frame is Wobbly or Noisy:
  • Ensure all assembly bolts are fully tightened.
  • Verify that all metal slats are correctly seated in their quick-lock positions.
  • Check that the bed frame is on a level surface.
• LED Lights Not Working:
  • Confirm the power adapter is securely plugged into a working wall outlet and the bed frame.
  • Check all connections between the LED strip, controller, and power adapter.
  • Ensure the power button on the controller is pressed.
• Charging Station Not Functioning:
  • Verify the bed frame's main power cord is plugged into a live electrical outlet.
  • Test with a different device and charging cable to rule out device/cable issues.
• Drawers Do Not Slide Smoothly:
  • Check for any obstructions in the drawer tracks.
  • Ensure the drawer wheels are clean and properly aligned.
• Mattress Slipping:
  • The bed frame includes a steel baffle design to prevent mattress slipping. Ensure the mattress is properly positioned against this baffle.
