4. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your MINISFORUM M1 Plus Mini PC:
- Connect to Power: Connect the US Power Adapter to the DC 19V input port on the rear of the Mini PC, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
- Connect to Display: Use the provided HDMI cable or a DisplayPort/USB4 cable to connect your monitor(s) to the corresponding video output ports on the Mini PC.
- Connect Peripherals: Connect your keyboard, mouse, and other USB devices to the available USB ports.
- Network Connection: For a wired connection, connect an Ethernet cable from your router or modem to one of the 2.5G LAN ports. For wireless, ensure your WiFi network is available.
- Power On: Press the power button located on the front of the Mini PC. The system will boot up.
- Initial Setup: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the operating system setup (if applicable).
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the PC on. To turn off, use the operating system's shutdown function or press and hold the power button for a few seconds for a forced shutdown (not recommended for regular use).
- Restart: Use the operating system's restart function.
- Sleep Mode: Use the operating system's sleep function.
5.2 Graphics Configuration Note
When the Mini PC operates with a single DDR memory stick, the Device Manager may display "Intel UHD Graphics." When two DDR memory sticks are installed (dual-channel configuration), it will display "Intel Iris Xe Graphics," indicating enhanced graphics performance.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Mini PC:
- Keep Clean: Regularly clean the exterior of the Mini PC with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure ventilation holes are free from dust and obstructions.
- Software Updates: Keep your operating system and drivers updated to the latest versions for security and performance improvements.
- Avoid Extreme Conditions: Do not expose the Mini PC to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Proper Shutdown: Always shut down the system properly through the operating system to prevent data corruption.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your M1 Plus Mini PC, refer to the following common solutions:
- No Power:
- Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the Mini PC and a working power outlet.
- Test the power outlet with another device.
- No Display:
- Verify that the HDMI, DisplayPort, or USB4 cable is securely connected to both the Mini PC and the monitor.
- Ensure the monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source.
- Try a different display cable or monitor if possible.
- No Internet Connection:
- For wired connections, check the Ethernet cable and router/modem status.
- For wireless connections, ensure WiFi is enabled in the operating system and you are connected to the correct network.
- Restart your router/modem and the Mini PC.
- System Slowdown:
- Check for background applications consuming high CPU or RAM resources.
