Operating Instructions

Jump Starting a Vehicle

Ensure the jump starter has at least 50% charge before attempting to jump start a vehicle.

  1. Prepare the Vehicle: Turn off the vehicle's ignition and all accessories (headlights, radio, etc.). Engage the parking brake.
  2. Connect Jumper Cables to Jump Starter: Insert the blue plug of the smart jumper cables into the jump start port on the BSMOOM unit. Ensure it is fully seated. The indicator light on the smart clamp should flash green.
  3. Connect Clamps to Car Battery:
    • Connect the RED (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's dead battery.
    • Connect the BLACK (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's dead battery.

The smart clamp indicator light should turn solid green, indicating a correct connection. If it flashes red or beeps, check the connections and battery status.

  4. Start the Vehicle: Once the smart clamp indicator is solid green, start your vehicle's engine.
  5. Remove Clamps: As soon as the vehicle starts, remove the jumper cables from the car battery first (BLACK then RED), then disconnect the blue plug from the jump starter.

If the vehicle does not start after the first attempt, wait at least 30 seconds before trying again. Do not attempt more than 3 consecutive jump starts.

Charging External Devices (Power Bank Function)

The BSMOOM Jump Starter can also function as a power bank to charge your electronic devices.

  1. Connect your device's USB charging cable to one of the USB output ports (USB QC3.0 or Type-C) on the jump starter.
  2. The jump starter will automatically begin charging your device. The LCD display will show "OUT" indicating power output.
  3. Disconnect your device once charging is complete.
