1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury.

  • To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, do not immerse cord, plugs, or electric kettle in water or other liquid.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the kettle for any damage. Ensure all components are present: electric kettle, power base, and user manual.

4.2 First Use Cleaning

  1. Fill the kettle with clean water up to the MAX fill line.
  2. Boil the water at 212°F (Boil setting).
  3. Discard the boiled water.
  4. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.

4.3 Placing the Kettle

Place the power base on a dry, flat, and stable surface. Position the kettle securely onto the power base.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Filling the Kettle

Press the lid release button to open the lid. Fill the kettle with fresh water between the MIN and MAX fill lines (1.7L maximum). Close the lid securely.

5.2 Selecting Temperature Presets

Place the kettle on the power base. The digital display will show the current water temperature. Press the TEMP button repeatedly to cycle through the 6 preset temperatures:

  • 165°F (Delicate): For delicate teas.
  • 175°F (White Tea): Ideal for white teas.
  • 180°F (Green Tea): Perfect for green teas.
  • 190°F (Oolong Tea): Suitable for oolong teas.
  • 200°F (Coffee): Optimal for coffee brewing.
  • 212°F (Black/Boil): For black teas and boiling water.

5.3 Starting and Canceling

  • After selecting your desired temperature, press the START button to begin heating. The display will show the water heating up.
  • To stop the heating process at any time, press the CANCEL button.

5.4 Keep Warm Function

Once the water reaches the selected temperature, the kettle will automatically enter the Keep Warm mode, maintaining the temperature for up to 4 hours. After 4 hours, the kettle will automatically shut off.

5.5 Rapid Boiling

The 1500W heating element allows the kettle to boil 1.7L of water in approximately 3-8 minutes, depending on the initial water temperature.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  • The interior can be cleaned with a soft sponge and mild detergent, then rinsed thoroughly.
  • Do not immerse the kettle or power base in water or any other liquid.

6.2 Descaling (Removing Mineral Deposits)

Mineral deposits (scale) can build up inside the kettle over time, especially in hard water areas. This can affect performance and taste. Descale your kettle regularly.

  1. Fill the kettle with 1 cup of white vinegar and 2 cups of water.
  2. Boil the mixture.
  3. Let it stand for 30 minutes, then discard the solution.
  4. Rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water several times.
  5. Alternatively, you can use lemon juice: add lemon juice to the kettle, wipe repeatedly with a soft cloth, then rinse thoroughly.

7. Troubleshooting
