- Installation Instruction (this manual)
Installation Steps:
- Remove Air Conditioning Vent Cover: Carefully pry and remove the decorative cover of the air conditioning vent using a plastic trim removal tool. Disconnect any wiring harnesses from the back of the vent cover.
- Access Fixing Screws: Remove the bottom cover below the air conditioning controls to expose the fixing screws. Unscrew these four screws.
- Remove Air Conditioning Control Panel: After removing the screws, carefully pull out the air conditioning control panel and disconnect its wiring harness from the back.
- Remove Main Unit: Unscrew the fixing screws on both sides of the main unit (CD player). Gently pull out the main unit and disconnect its power cord and the fiber optic audio cable from the back.
- Install Main Power Cable: Connect the main power cable from the new unit to the original car's power cable. Ensure all connections are secure. Route the power cable from the air conditioning compartment through the air vent area up to the top dashboard area.
- Install USB Cable: Route the USB cable from under the passenger seat into the air conditioning compartment and up to the top dashboard area.
- Install 4G Antenna: Attach the 4G antenna to the inside wall of the air vent compartment. Route the cable through the side panel and up to the top dashboard area.
- Install GPS Unit: Attach the GPS unit to the dashboard, routing its cable through the side panel, extending it to the air vent compartment, and then up to the top dashboard area. Loosen the car door seal and use a tool to open the side cover to route the GPS cable.
- Optional Speaker Installation: If the sound from your original front left speaker is not sufficient, connect the optional speaker wires as shown in the video and attach the speaker to the car's interior wall. (Note: This step may be skipped if original sound is satisfactory).
- Backup Camera Connection: If your car has a backup camera, connect its wiring to the provided wiring harness. Ensure to insulate connection points to prevent short circuits.
- Connect AUX Cable: Note that the AUX cable is initially plugged into the main power cable. If you still don't have sound after everything is connected, unplug it and plug it into your car's original AUX port (often located near the USB port in the center console).
- Connect Optical Fiber Cable: Plug the optical fiber cable into the other end of the adapter cable.
- Reinstall Main Unit: Tidy up all cables and reinstall the original car media host, securing it with its screws.
- Install Device Mounting Frame: Take out the device's mounting frame, align it with the screw holes, and route the cables through the center.
- Connect Cables to New Screen: Connect all necessary cables (4G antenna, GPS, power, etc.) to the new navigation screen as shown in the video.
- Install New Screen: After plugging in the cables, align the device's clips with the panel's clips and press down to lock it in place.
- Test Functionality: Start the car and test the knob controls, sound, backup camera, and other functions to ensure they are working properly.
- Final Reassembly: Tighten the screws on the screen's front frame and the original car media host. Connect the original car's air conditioning panel control cable and tighten the four securing screws. Replace the bottom trim panel. Find the hazard warning light wiring harness and the air conditioning sensor line, connect these two plugs, and press the hazard warning light button back in place.

- Temperature: Avoid exposing the screen to extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, for extended periods.
- Physical Protection: Do not apply excessive pressure to the screen. Avoid sharp objects that could scratch or damage the display.
- Software Updates: Periodically check for firmware updates to ensure your system has the latest features and bug fixes.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your AINAVI touch screen, refer to the following common solutions:
No Sound Issue:
If there is no sound after installation or during operation:
- Ensure the AUX cable is correctly connected. If the system's AUX cable is initially plugged into the main power cable, try unplugging it and connecting it directly to your car's original AUX port (often located near the USB port in the center console).
- Check the car's original system settings to ensure the correct audio input (AUX) is selected.
- Verify that the volume on both the new screen and the original car system is turned up.
- Confirm that all wiring harnesses, especially the main power cable and fiber optic cable, are securely plugged in and not loose.

Screen Display Issues (e.g., Pink Screen):
If the screen displays incorrectly (e.g., pink screen) when switching to the original system:
- Ensure the LVDS cable is correctly and securely connected to both the new screen and the original car media host.
- Verify that the correct system type (CIC, CCC, NBT) is selected in the new screen's settings, matching your vehicle's original system.
Connectivity Problems (CarPlay/Android Auto):
- For wireless connections, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and paired with the car system.
- For wired Android Auto, use an original factory USB cable to connect your phone to the system.
- Restart both your phone and the car system.
