3.1. Ports and Connectors

4. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your HP OmniDesk Slim Desktop PC:

  1. Connect Monitor: Connect your monitor to the PC using an HDMI or DisplayPort cable. Ensure the cable is securely plugged into both the PC and the monitor.
  2. Connect Peripherals: Plug in your USB keyboard and mouse into the available USB ports on the PC.

  • Sleep Mode: Click the Start button, then Power > Sleep.

5.2. Connecting to a Network

Your PC supports both wired (Ethernet) and wireless (Wi-Fi) network connections.

  • Wired Connection: Connect an Ethernet cable from your router or modem to the RJ-45 port on the back of the PC.
  • Wireless Connection (Wi-Fi 6):
    1. Click the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar.
    2. Select your desired Wi-Fi network from the list.
    3. Enter the network security key (password) if prompted, then click Connect.

5.3. Dual Display Support

To extend your desktop to a second monitor:

  1. Connect the second monitor to an available video output port (HDMI or DisplayPort) on your PC.
  2. Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings.
  3. Under "Multiple displays," select how you want the displays to behave (e.g., Extend these displays, Duplicate these displays).

6. Maintenance
