Setup
1. Charging the Headphones
- Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the headphones.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
- The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours and provides up to 90 hours of playtime at 50% volume. A 15-minute quick charge provides several additional hours of listening.
2. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the headphones are charged.
- Press and hold the Power button for 3-5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes blue and red, indicating pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, laptop, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for "EKSA V16".
- Select "EKSA V16" from the list of available devices to connect. The LED will turn solid blue once connected.
3. Wired Connection (3.5mm Audio Cable)
- Insert one end of the 3.5mm audio cable into the audio jack on the headphones.
- Connect the other end to the 3.5mm audio output port of your device.
- Note: Hi-Res audio mode is only available when using the included 3.5mm cable.
4. App Installation & Setup
Download the EKSA companion app from your device's app store to customize your audio experience.
- Search for "EKSA App" in your app store.
- Install the app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your V16 headphones.
- The app allows access to six EQ presets (Pop, Country, Jazz, Slow Song, Classical, Custom) and other settings.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds.
2. Volume Control
- Increase Volume: Press the Volume Up button.
- Decrease Volume: Press the Volume Down button.
3. Playback Control
- Play/Pause: Press the Multi-function button once.
- Next Track: Press the Multi-function button twice.
- Previous Track: Press the Multi-function button three times.
4. Call Management
- Answer/End Call: Press the Multi-function button once.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Multi-function button for 2 seconds.
5. EQ Modes
The headphones offer 6 EQ modes. You can switch between dedicated Pop and Bass modes by double-pressing the control button. For full customization and access to all six presets (Pop, Country, Jazz, Slow Song, Classical, Custom), use the EKSA companion app.
6. Dual Device Connection
The EKSA V16 supports simultaneous connection to two Bluetooth devices. This allows you to seamlessly switch audio sources, for example, taking a call from your phone while listening to music from your laptop.
7. Voice Assistant
Activate or disable your device's voice assistant by long-pressing the function button for approximately 2 seconds.
