2.2 Initial Connection
- Connect the provided USB-A to USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the keyboard and to an available USB-A port on your computer.

2.3 Switching Connectivity Modes

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning Your Keyboard
- To clean the keycaps, use the provided keycap puller to gently remove them. Wipe the keycaps with a soft, damp cloth.
- Use compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the switches.
- For the keyboard body, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
4.2 Replacing Keycaps and Switches
The M1 V5 HE keyboard supports hot-swappable magnetic switches, allowing for easy replacement without soldering. Use the provided tools for this process.
- Using the keycap puller, carefully remove the desired keycap by hooking it onto the sides and pulling upwards.
- Once the keycap is removed, use the switch puller to grasp the top and bottom clips of the switch. Gently pull the switch upwards to remove it from the PCB.
- Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB. Press down firmly until the switch clicks into place.
- Reattach the keycap by aligning it with the switch stem and pressing down.
