- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- Do not use outdoors.
- To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Always plug into a 120V, 15A, 60Hz outlet.

3. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the heater and all accessories from the packaging.
- Position: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there are no obstructions to the air intake or exhaust.
- Power Connection: Plug the DREO FortPlug directly into a 120V, 15A, 60Hz wall outlet. Avoid using extension cords or power strips.
- Remote Batteries: Insert the included 2 AAA batteries into the remote control.

4. Operating Instructions
The heater can be operated using the touch control panel on the top or the included remote control.
4.1 Power On/Off
- Press the Power button (⏻) on the control panel or remote to turn the heater ON or OFF.
- When turned ON, the display will show the current room temperature.
4.2 Mode Selection
Press the Mode button (≡) to cycle through the available modes:
- High Heat (H3): Maximum heating power.
- Medium Heat (H2): Moderate heating power.
- Low Heat (H1): Minimum heating power.
- ECO Mode: The heater automatically adjusts its power level to maintain the set temperature, optimizing energy consumption.
- Fan Mode: Operates as a fan without heating.

4.3 Temperature Adjustment
- In ECO mode, use the Plus (+) and Minus (−) buttons to set your desired temperature between 41°F and 95°F.
- The heater will automatically turn on/off to maintain the set temperature.

4.4 Oscillation
- Press the Oscillation button (⟳) to activate or deactivate the 70° wide oscillation function.

4.5 Timer Function
- Press the Timer button (◴) to set an auto-off timer from 1 to 12 hours.
- Each press increases the timer by 1 hour. The display will show the set time.
4.6 Child Lock
- To activate the child lock, press and hold the Minus (−) and Mode (≡) buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The display will show "LC".
- To deactivate, repeat the same action.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your heater.
- Cleaning: Always unplug the heater before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to keep it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.
- Air Intake/Exhaust: Periodically check and clean the air intake and exhaust vents to ensure they are free from dust and debris. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment if necessary.

If your heater is not operating correctly, refer to the following common issues and solutions:
