4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Camera

Before initial use, fully charge the camera using the provided USB-C charging cable and a 5V/1A or 2A adapter. The charging port is located on the bottom of the camera. A full charge ensures optimal battery performance.

4.2 Data Plan and Connectivity

The KKB G500 is a 4G LTE security camera and does not support 5GHz WiFi. A data plan is required for operation. You can enjoy a free 3-day trial to get started. Ensure the camera is installed in an area with strong 4G network coverage. Please note that 5GHz WiFi is not supported.

4.3 App Installation and Device Pairing

Download the iCam365 App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Scan the QR code provided in the included 'Thank You' card or on the camera itself to add the device to the app. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. Ensure the camera is fully booted up and you hear the voice prompt before scanning.

4.4 Mounting Options

The KKB G500 offers flexible mounting:

• Magnetic Mount: The camera features a magnetic base for quick attachment to metal surfaces.
• Fixed Installation: For more permanent placement, use the included metal plate and mounting screws. Drilling may be required for this option.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Live View

Once connected, open the iCam365 App to access the live video feed from your camera. You can monitor your property in real-time from anywhere with a 4G connection.

5.2 Motion Detection and Alerts

The camera utilizes a PIR motion sensor for accurate detection. When motion is detected, the camera will send instant alerts to your phone via the iCam365 App. AI detection helps differentiate between humans and other moving objects, reducing unnecessary notifications.

5.3 Two-Way Audio

The built-in microphone and speaker enable clear two-way audio communication. Use this feature to speak with visitors, delivery personnel, or deter intruders directly through the app.
