5. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to install your K01 EBike Display:
- Choose Mounting Location: The K01 display is designed to be installed on the left side of the handlebar. Ensure there is sufficient space for secure mounting.
- Handlebar Diameter: Confirm your handlebar diameter is either 22.2mm or 25.4mm. The display's clamp is designed to fit these sizes.
- Secure the Display: Open the display clamp, position it on the handlebar, and tighten the screws securely. Ensure the display is oriented correctly for optimal viewing.
- Connect the Cable: Locate the 5-pin female circular connector on the display cable. Connect it to the corresponding male connector on your BAFANG motor system. Ensure the connection is firm and secure.

6. Operating Instructions
The K01 display features three buttons for operation: + (Plus), Power, and - (Minus).

6.1 Power On/Off
- Press and hold the Power button to turn the display on or off.
6.2 Adjusting Power Assist (PAS) Levels
- Press the + button to increase the power assist level (0-9).
- Press the - button to decrease the power assist level (0-9).
- Level 0 indicates no motor assistance.
6.3 Displaying Mileage and Speed Data
- The display automatically shows real-time speed.
- Short press the Power button to cycle through different data displays:
- TRIP: Single trip mileage.
- ODO: Total mileage.
- MAX: Maximum speed achieved during the current trip.
- AVG: Average speed during the current trip.
6.4 Headlight Control
- The display features a light sensor that can automatically activate your ebike's headlights at dusk if connected and supported by your ebike system.
- A headlamp indication icon will appear on the display when the headlights are active.
6.5 6km/h Walk Assist Function
- To activate the walk assist function, press and hold the - button. The ebike will move at a steady speed of 6km/h.
- Release the - button to deactivate the walk assist.
