3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Device
The DORMIE T200 is equipped with a built-in lithium-ion polymer battery and supports USB-C charging.
- Locate the USB-C charging port on the device.
- Connect the provided Type-C cable to the device and a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
- The charging indicator will illuminate. A full charge provides approximately 8000 measurements.

3.2 Attaching the Magnetic Case
The device comes with a dedicated magnetic case for convenient carrying and attachment.
- The rangefinder has a strong magnet on its side.
- Attach the magnetic case to the rangefinder.
- The case can then be attached to a golf cart or belt for easy access during play.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
- To power on, press the power button once.
- The device will automatically power off after approximately 16 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery.
4.2 Basic Measurement (High Precision)
The DORMIE T200 provides quick and accurate distance measurements.
- Look through the eyepiece and aim the crosshairs at your target (e.g., flag, bunker, tree).
- Press the power/measurement button briefly. The distance will be displayed almost instantly (0.02 seconds).
4.3 Measurement Modes

- Mode Switching: Press the 'M' button to cycle through available modes.
- Three-Point Measurement Mode: Measures the distance from your current position to a landing point, and then to the pin. This helps visualize distances for strategic play.
- Slope Compensation Mode: Automatically calculates and displays the adjusted distance based on elevation changes.
- Competition Mode (Slope OFF): The slope compensation feature can be turned off with a single touch, indicated by an LED, to comply with competition rules.
- Pin Lock Mode: When aiming at the flag, the device will lock onto it and vibrate to confirm the measurement, ignoring background objects.
