4. Setup

Power Connection:
- Mains Power: Connect the supplied power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the radio and plug it into a wall socket.
- Battery Power: Open the battery compartment on the back and insert 4x AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
Antenna: Fully extend the telescopic antenna for optimal radio reception.
Initial Power On: Press the Power/Volume knob to turn on the radio. The unit will typically start in DAB mode and perform an automatic scan for available stations.
Language Selection: If prompted, use the Menu/Back button and Volume knob to select your preferred language, then press the Volume knob to confirm.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. DAB/DAB+ Radio Mode

Select DAB Mode: Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until "DAB" is displayed.
Auto Scan: If no stations are found or you wish to rescan, press and hold the MENU/BACK button, then rotate the Volume knob to select "Full Scan" and press the knob to confirm. The radio will scan for all available DAB/DAB+ stations.
Select Station: Rotate the Volume knob to browse through the list of available stations. Press the knob to select and tune into a station.
Store Presets: To save a station, press and hold the PRESETS button. Rotate the Volume knob to select a preset number (1-40) and press the knob to confirm.
Recall Presets: Briefly press the PRESETS button, then rotate the Volume knob to select your desired preset and press the knob to tune in.

5.2. FM Radio Mode

Select FM Mode: Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until "FM" is displayed.
Auto Scan: Press and hold the MENU/BACK button, then rotate the Volume knob to select "Auto Scan" and press the knob to confirm. The radio will scan and save available FM stations.
Manual Tuning: Briefly press the MENU/BACK button, then rotate the Volume knob to manually tune the frequency.
Store Presets: To save a station, press and hold the PRESETS button. Rotate the Volume knob to select a preset number (1-40) and press the knob to confirm.
Recall Presets: Briefly press the PRESETS button, then rotate the Volume knob to select your desired preset and press the knob to tune in.

5.3. Bluetooth Mode

Select Bluetooth Mode: Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until "Bluetooth" is displayed. The radio will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon on the display.
Pairing: On your smartphone or tablet, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices. Select "MD2 Plus" from the list. Once connected, the Bluetooth icon will stop flashing.
Playback: Start playing audio on your connected device. You can control playback (play/pause, skip tracks) using the buttons on the radio or your device.

5.4. Alarms, Snooze, and Sleep Timer

Setting Alarms:
- Press and hold the MENU/BACK button to enter the menu.
- Rotate the Volume knob to navigate to "System Settings" and press to confirm.
- Select "Alarm" and choose Alarm 1 or Alarm 2.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to set the alarm time, duration, source (DAB, FM, or Buzzer), and frequency (Daily, Weekdays, Weekends, Once).
Snooze Function: When an alarm sounds, press any button (except Power) to activate snooze. The alarm will sound again after a short interval.
Sleep Timer:
- Press the INFO button repeatedly to cycle through display information until you see the sleep timer option.
- Alternatively, access via "System Settings" -> "Sleep Timer" in the menu.
- Select the desired sleep duration (e.g., 15, 30, 60 minutes). The radio will automatically turn off after the set time.

6. Maintenance

Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the radio's exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Storage: If storing the radio for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store in a cool, dry place.
Antenna Care: Handle the telescopic antenna gently to avoid damage.
Water Exposure: This radio is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to water or high humidity.

7. Troubleshooting
