Product Overview

The KZF Humidifier Model ZG-563-A is an ultrasonic cool mist humidifier designed for large rooms. It features a 15-liter capacity, adjustable mist levels, precise humidity control, and remote operation.

Main Components:

Setup

1. Placement

  1. Place the humidifier on a flat, stable, and waterproof surface.
  2. Ensure it is at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from walls, furniture, and electronic devices.
  3. Avoid placing it directly on carpet or near heat sources.
  4. This humidifier is suitable for various room types including bedrooms, living rooms, offices, plant rooms, and yoga rooms.

2. Filling the Water Tank

  1. Ensure the humidifier is unplugged from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the top cover of the humidifier.
  3. Pour clean, cool tap water directly into the water tank opening. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
  4. Alternatively, you can move the entire machine under a faucet to fill it directly.
  5. Replace the top cover securely.

3. Power Connection

  1. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
  2. The humidifier is now ready for operation.

2. Adjusting Mist Volume

The humidifier offers 3 adjustable mist levels (Low, Medium, High).

3. Setting Desired Humidity

The KZF Humidifier features an external humidity sensor for precise control. You can set your desired humidity level between 55% and 95% in 5% increments.

4. Directing Mist

The mist nozzle can be rotated 360° to direct the mist flow in any desired direction.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and hygiene of your humidifier. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.

Daily Maintenance:

Weekly Cleaning:

  1. Unplug the humidifier and empty all water.
  2. Remove the top cover and water tank.
  3. To clean the water tank: Fill the tank halfway with water and add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar. Shake vigorously and let it sit for 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
  4. To clean the base unit: Gently wipe the ultrasonic transducer (the small disc) and the surrounding area with a soft brush or cloth dipped in white vinegar. Do not scrub aggressively. Rinse the base with clean water, being careful not to get water into the air outlet.
  5. Wipe all surfaces dry before reassembling.

Note: Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or detergents. Do not immerse the base unit in water.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your humidifier, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Ensure power cord is securely plugged in.
Unusual odor from mist
  • Stagnant water in tank.
  • Mineral buildup.
  • Empty and clean the water tank thoroughly.
  • Perform weekly cleaning with vinegar solution.
Water leakage
  • Water tank not seated correctly.
  • Overfilling the water tank.
  • Ensure the water tank is properly aligned and seated on the base.
  • Do not fill water above the maximum fill line.
Humidifier turns off unexpectedly
  • Water tank is empty (dry burning prevention).
  • Target humidity reached.
  • Refill water tank.
  • This is normal operation. The unit will restart when humidity drops.
