1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Ingco 20V Cordless Impact Wrench (Model: COSLI23056). Please read these instructions carefully before using the tool and retain them for future reference.

The Ingco 20V Cordless Impact Wrench is designed for loosening or tightening various types of bolts and nuts, suitable for automotive repairs, construction projects, equipment maintenance, and product assembly. It features a powerful brushless motor, variable speed control, and comes as a comprehensive kit including a work lamp, batteries, charger, sockets, and screwdriver bits.

2. Safety Instructions

2.1 General Power Tool Safety

• Work Area Safety: Keep your work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.

2.2 Battery Tool Use and Care

• Battery Pack: Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
• Storage: When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
• Abuse: Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Charging and Installation

1. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use. Connect the charger to a power outlet and insert the battery pack. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status.
2. To install the battery, align the battery pack with the base of the impact wrench and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.
3. To remove the battery, press the release button on the battery pack and slide it out.

5.2 Attaching Sockets and Bits

1. Select the appropriate socket or screwdriver bit for your task.
2. Align the square drive of the socket with the anvil of the impact wrench.
3. Push the socket firmly onto the anvil until it locks into place. Ensure it is securely attached before operation.
4. To remove, pull the socket firmly off the anvil.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off and Speed Selection

1. To power on the impact wrench, press the trigger switch. The tool will start operating.
2. To power off, release the trigger switch.
3. The tool features a variable speed trigger. Pressing the trigger further increases the speed.
4. Use the mode selection button (labeled 'MODE') to cycle through the three available speed settings (1, 2, 3) and the AI mode. The corresponding indicator lights will illuminate.

6.2 Forward/Reverse Rotation and Automatic Stop

1. The forward/reverse lever is located above the trigger. Push it to the left for forward rotation (tightening) and to the right for reverse rotation (loosening).
2. The AI mode (Automatic Stop) is designed for nut pre-tightening. When activated, the tool will automatically stop once a certain torque is reached, preventing over-tightening.

6.3 Using the Work Lamp

1. The work lamp is a separate unit. Press the power button to turn it on/off.
2. The lamp features a magnetic base, allowing it to be attached to metal surfaces for hands-free illumination.
3. The lamp head can be rotated 360 degrees to direct light precisely where needed.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

7.2 Storage

Store the impact wrench and its accessories in the provided carrying case in a dry, secure location, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure batteries are partially charged before long-term storage.
