Setup

1. Power Supply

The scale can be powered by either 2 AAA batteries or the included USB-A cable.

  • Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the back of the display unit. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
  • USB Power: Connect the provided USB-A cable to the display unit and a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).

2. Placement

Place the scale platform on a flat, stable surface. The display unit is connected via a coiled cable, allowing flexible placement. It features a foldable stand for tabletop use and a magnetic back for attachment to metal surfaces.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off and Tare Function

  • Press the ON/OFF/TARE button to turn the scale on.
  • To turn the scale off, press and hold the ON/OFF/TARE button for a few seconds.
  • To use the Tare function (zero out the weight of a container), place the empty container on the platform, then press the ON/OFF/TARE button. The display will reset to zero, allowing you to weigh only the contents.

2. Unit Conversion

Press the UNIT button to cycle through the available weighing units: Kilograms (kg), Pounds (lb), Pounds:Ounces (lb:oz), and Ounces (oz).

3. Hold Function

The Hold function allows you to lock the weight reading on the display even after the item is removed from the platform. This is useful for large or awkward items that might obscure the display.

  • Place the item on the scale platform.
  • Press the HOLD button. The weight will be locked on the display.
  • Remove the item. The weight will remain displayed.
  • Press the HOLD button again to clear the held reading.

4. Piece Counting Function (PCS)

This function allows you to count multiple small items of uniform weight.

  • With the scale on, place a sample quantity of items (e.g., 25, 50, 75, or 100 pieces) on the platform.
  • Press and hold the PCS button until the display shows "PCS" and a number (e.g., "25").
  • Press the UNIT button to select the sample quantity that matches the number of items you placed on the scale.
  • Press the PCS button again to confirm. The display will now show "PCS" and the count of your sample.
  • You can now add more items, and the scale will display the total count.

5. Auto-Off Function

The scale features an adjustable auto-off function to conserve power. By default, it turns off after 3 minutes of inactivity.

  • To adjust the auto-off time, turn the scale off.
  • Press and hold the ON/OFF/TARE and UNIT buttons simultaneously until the display shows a number (e.g., "180" for 180 seconds).
  • Press the UNIT button to cycle through the auto-off options (0s, 180s, 300s). "0s" disables the auto-off function.
  • Press the ON/OFF/TARE button to confirm your selection.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

The stainless steel platform is durable and easy to clean. Wipe the scale with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or submerging the unit in water.

2. Storage

Store the scale in a dry, cool place. If not in use for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
