Setup (Installation)

Follow these steps for a proper and secure installation. No drilling is required.

1. Preparation

• Clean the bulkhead and bed rails thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion of seals.
• Apply the front seal strip onto the bulkhead of your truck bed.

2. Installing Side Rails

• Remove the end caps from your truck's deck rail system by pushing in and pulling back.
• Slide three mounting brackets into each side rail of the truck bed.
• Reinstall the end caps on the deck rail system.
• Position the tonneau cover side rails onto the truck bed rails.
• Secure the side rails using the provided mounting blocks and bolts. Ensure they are snug but do not overtighten until final adjustments.

3. Installing Drainage Tubes

• Connect the drainage tubes to the designated ports on the front of the tonneau cover rails.
• Route the tubes through the truck bed's drain holes to allow water to exit.

4. Placing and Securing the Cover

• Carefully place the tri-fold tonneau cover assembly onto the installed side rails, ensuring it is centered and aligned with the truck bed.
• Insert the carriage bolts through the designated holes in the cover and secure them from underneath with the provided nuts. Hand-tighten initially.

5. Final Adjustments

• With the cover in the closed position, check the alignment along all edges of the truck bed. Adjust the side rails and cover position as needed to achieve a flush fit.
• Once satisfied with the fit, fully tighten all mounting clamps and carriage bolts using the provided hex wrench. Ensure the cover is securely fastened to prevent movement during travel.
• Verify that the tailgate closes properly and seals against the rear of the tonneau cover.

Operating the Tonneau Cover

The AUTOSAVER88 tonneau cover offers flexible access to your truck bed with its tri-fold design.

1. Opening and Folding

• To unlock the cover, use the single-hand convenience latch located on either side of the truck bed. Simply pull the latch to release the rear panel.
• Fold the rear panel forward towards the cab. The cover can be partially folded (2/3 open) for quick access to items or fully folded to maximize bed space.
• When fully folded, the cover rests against the cab, secured by nylon lock straps.

• When the cover is fully folded against the cab, use the integrated nylon buckle straps to secure it in place. This prevents the cover from unfolding during transit.
