- Always unplug the Lomi unit before cleaning.

- Wipe down the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and plugging in the unit.
4.2 Filter Replacement
The activated charcoal filters should be replaced approximately every 3-6 months, depending on usage. Refer to section 2.2 for filter installation steps.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Lomi 3, try the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Unit Not Starting: Ensure the unit is properly plugged into a working outlet and the lid is securely closed.
- Unusual Odors: Check if the carbon filters need replacement. Ensure the inner bucket is clean.
- Cycle Not Completing: Verify that the inner bucket is not overfilled and that only approved items are being composted.
- Lomi Earth Consistency: If the Lomi Earth is too wet or too dry, adjust the type of food scraps added in future cycles. Adding more fibrous materials can help with wetness.
For persistent issues, please refer to the full troubleshooting guide in the comprehensive manual or contact Lomi customer support.
