Important Safeguards

Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage or future transport.
2. Placement: Place the main unit on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is enough space around the unit for safe operation and steam release.
3. Fill Water Tank:
   • Remove the water tank from the main unit.
   • Open the water tank cap.
   • Fill the tank with distilled or demineralized water up to the 'MAX' fill line. Do not overfill.
   • Close the cap securely and reinsert the water tank into the main unit until it clicks into place.

4. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

General Operation:

1. Ensure the water tank is filled and the unit is plugged in.
2. Press the power button to turn on the appliance. The indicator light will illuminate.
3. Allow approximately 45 seconds for the unit to heat up. The indicator light may change or stop flashing when ready.

Steaming Garments:

1. Hang the garment on a hanger.
2. Hold the steamer head a few inches away from the fabric.
3. Press the steam trigger to release steam. Move the steamer head slowly over the fabric, from top to bottom.
4. For stubborn wrinkles, gently press the steamer head against the fabric while steaming.

Ironing Function:

1. Place the garment on an ironing board.
2. Ensure the steamer head is heated.
3. Gently press the soleplate of the steamer head onto the fabric and move it across the garment as you would with a traditional iron.
4. Use the steam trigger for bursts of steam as needed to smooth out wrinkles.

Using Accessories:

The delicate garment accessories can be attached to the steamer head for use on specific fabric types or for upholstery and curtains.

• Fabric Brush: Use for heavier fabrics to help open weaves and allow steam to penetrate deeper.
• Delicate Fabric Attachment: Provides a protective layer for delicate materials, preventing direct contact with the hot soleplate.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your appliance.

1. After Each Use:
   • Turn off and unplug the appliance.
   • Allow the unit to cool completely.
   • Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water.
   • Wipe the exterior of the unit and the steamer head with a soft, damp cloth.
2. Cleaning Accessories: The delicate garment accessories can be cleaned with mild soap and water. Ensure they are completely dry before storing.
3. Descaling (Monthly or as needed): If you notice reduced steam output or mineral buildup, descaling may be necessary.
   • Mix a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water.
   • Fill the water tank with this solution.
   • Run the steamer until half of the solution has been used.
   • Turn off and unplug the unit, allowing it to cool for 30 minutes.
   • Empty the remaining solution and rinse the tank thoroughly with fresh water.
   • Refill with fresh water and run the steamer until the tank is empty to flush out any remaining vinegar.

Storage

Proper storage helps protect your appliance.

1. Ensure the appliance is completely cool and dry.
2. Empty the water tank.
3. Wrap the power cord neatly around the designated cord storage area on the main unit.
4. Store accessories in their designated compartments within the main unit.
5. Store the appliance in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
