Hard Drive Installation

- Remove the magnetic top cover of the NAS.
- Gently pull out the empty drive tray from the bay.
- For 3.5-inch HDDs: Insert the HDD into the tray. The tray is designed for tool-free installation; simply align the drive with the connectors and secure it with the side clips.
- For 2.5-inch SSDs/HDDs: Secure the drive to the tray using the provided screws.
- Slide the loaded drive tray back into the NAS until it clicks into place.
- Replace the magnetic top cover.
M.2 NVMe SSD Installation (Optional)

- Power off the NAS and disconnect all cables.
- Locate the M.2 NVMe access panel on the bottom of the NAS.
- Remove the screw(s) securing the panel and open it.
- Carefully insert the M.2 NVMe SSD into the slot at an angle.
- Gently push down the SSD and secure it with the provided screw.
- Close the access panel and secure it with the screw(s).
Initial Power On and Network Connection
- Connect the power adapter to the DC 12V port on the rear panel and plug it into a power outlet.
- Connect an Ethernet cable from your router or network switch to the LAN port on the rear panel.
- Press the power button on the front panel to turn on the NAS.
- Wait for the indicator lights to stabilize, indicating the device is ready.
Operating the NASync DH2300
Accessing the NAS
