4. Setup

4.1. Battery Charging and Installation

  1. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet.
  2. Insert the 4.0Ah battery into the charger. The indicator light will show charging status.
  3. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.
  4. Align the charged battery with the battery slot on the edger handle and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.

4.2. Handle Adjustment

The edger features an adjustable auxiliary handle for improved comfort and control during operation.

  1. Loosen the knob on the auxiliary handle.
  2. Adjust the handle to a comfortable position that allows for balanced operation.
  3. Tighten the knob to secure the handle in place.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Starting and Stopping the Edger

  1. Ensure the battery is securely installed.
  2. To start, press the safety lock-off button and then squeeze the trigger switch.
  3. To stop, release the trigger switch.

5.2. Adjusting Blade Depth

The edger features a 3-position blade depth adjustment to accommodate various lawn heights and edging requirements.

  1. Ensure the edger is turned off and the battery is removed before adjusting the blade depth.
  2. Locate the depth adjustment control button on the edger head.
  3. Press and slide the button to select one of the three depth settings.

5.3. Edging Techniques

For best results, hold the edger firmly with both hands. Guide the blade along the desired edge, allowing the tool to do the work. Maintain a steady pace for clean, crisp lines.
