Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Heybly Cat Scratching Post. A Phillips head screwdriver (not included) may be required.

1. Step 1: Attach the Base. Place the main base platform on a flat surface. Secure the three support posts (two sisal-wrapped, one with grooming brush) to the base using the provided screws and Allen wrench. Ensure they are tightened firmly.
2. Step 2: Install the Gentle Step Platform. Attach the smaller, gentle step platform to the designated support posts, ensuring it is level and secure.
3. Step 3: Mount the Top Bed. Place the plush top bed platform onto the upper ends of the support posts. Secure it with the remaining screws, ensuring all connections are tight.
4. Step 4: Final Check. Gently shake the assembled cat tree to confirm stability. Retighten any loose screws if necessary.

Operating and Usage

The Heybly Cat Scratching Post provides multiple features for your cat's comfort and activity.

• Comfortable Resting Platform: The plush top bed (40 cm L x 30 cm W) offers a soft and secure space for your cat to rest, nap, or observe its surroundings.
• Durable Sisal Scratching Posts: Three posts are fully wrapped in natural sisal rope, providing an ideal surface for your cat to scratch and maintain healthy claws, diverting attention from furniture.
• Integrated Grooming Brush: One post features a built-in grooming brush, allowing your cat to self-groom and help reduce shedding and hairballs.
• Gentle Step Access: A low-rise platform facilitates easy access to the top bed, making it suitable for kittens, senior cats, or cats with mobility challenges.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and hygiene of your cat scratching post.

• Cleaning the Plush Bed: The top plush bed is removable for easy cleaning. It is recommended to dry clean only. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
• General Cleaning: For other plush surfaces, use a lint roller or a soft brush to remove loose fur and debris. Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild pet-safe cleaner if necessary, then air dry thoroughly.
• Sisal Posts: The sisal posts can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner to remove loose fibers and cat hair. Avoid using wet cleaners on sisal.
• Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Tighten as needed to maintain stability.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Heybly Cat Scratching Post, refer to the following common solutions:

• Product is Unstable:
  • Ensure the cat tree is placed on a completely flat and level surface.
  • Check all assembly screws and tighten them securely.
  • Verify that all posts are correctly seated in their respective bases.
• Cat Not Using Scratching Posts:
  • Try sprinkling catnip on the sisal posts to attract your cat.
  • Gently guide your cat's paws to the scratching surface to demonstrate its use.
  • Ensure the cat tree is in a prominent location where your cat spends time.
• Loose Parts After Use:
  • Regularly inspect and tighten all screws and connections to prevent loosening over time.
