The 3.73-inch screen provides real-time readings for:

  • PM2.5: Particulate matter with a diameter of 2.5 micrometers or less (µg/m³).
  • PM10: Particulate matter with a diameter of 10 micrometers or less (µg/m³).
  • Temperature: Ambient temperature (°C/°F).
  • Humidity: Relative humidity (%).

5.2 Menu Mode and Calibration

You can adjust certain settings directly on the device using the Menu Mode:

  1. Enter Menu Mode: Short-press the Settings Button (gear icon) once. The temperature unit will start flashing.
  2. Switch Temperature Unit: While the temperature unit is flashing, short-press the "+" or "-" button to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Gently wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as these can damage the sensors or display.

6.2 Placement

Optimal placement is crucial for accurate readings:

  • Place the monitor on a flat surface using its retractable stand.
  • Ensure the device is not mounted directly against a wall or obstructed, as the back and sides contain air vents essential for gas detection and accurate air sampling.
  • Avoid placing the device near strong air currents (e.g., open windows, air conditioners) or heat sources, which can affect temperature and humidity readings.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Device Not Powering On: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the monitor and a functional 5V/1A power adapter. Try a different cable or adapter.
  • Unable to Connect to Wi-Fi/App:
    - Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The device does not support 5GHz networks.
    - Confirm the device is in pairing mode (flashing Wi-Fi icon).
    - Check your Wi-Fi password.
    - Move the device closer to your Wi-Fi router.
    - Restart your router and the AirGuard monitor.
  • Inaccurate Readings:
    - Ensure the device is placed in an area with good air circulation, away from direct drafts, heat sources, or excessive humidity.
    - Allow the device to stabilize for a few minutes after initial power-on or relocation.
    - Perform manual calibration for temperature and humidity via the Menu Mode if you have a trusted reference sensor. PM2.5/PM10 sensors are factory calibrated.
  • Alarm Triggering Frequently: Adjust the alert thresholds in the eWeLink app settings to suit your environment and preferences.
  • No Data in App History: Ensure the device is continuously powered and connected to Wi-Fi. Data is recorded and uploaded to the cloud via the eWeLink app.
