Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the metal frame with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. The Oxford fabric liner bag can be removed and hand-washed with mild soap and water, then air-dried.
  • Wheel Care: Periodically check the inflatable tires for proper air pressure. Inflate as needed, but do not overinflate. Inspect wheels for any damage or wear.
  • Lubrication: Occasionally apply a silicone-based lubricant to moving parts and folding mechanisms to ensure smooth operation.
  • Storage: Store the cart in a dry environment to prevent rust and prolong the life of the fabric.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Cart difficult to pull or steer Low tire pressure; uneven load distribution; debris in wheels. Check and inflate tires; redistribute load evenly; clear any debris from wheels.
Folding mechanism stiff Lack of lubrication; dirt accumulation. Clean and apply silicone lubricant to moving parts.
Rod holders loose Mounting screws or clips are not tightened. Ensure all mounting hardware for rod holders is securely fastened.
