1. Introduction

The Carpuride W602S PRO is a 6.25-inch motorcycle display designed to enhance your riding experience with advanced connectivity and navigation features. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual Bluetooth for simultaneous connections, and includes a wired controller for safe operation. 3. Setup & Installation

3.1 Mounting the Device

The Carpuride W602S PRO offers multiple installation methods using the included BM05, ring, and square brackets. Choose the bracket that best suits your motorcycle's handlebar configuration.

3.2 Power Supply Wiring

The device supports three power supply options: Type-C port, USB cable, or direct power cable connection to the motorcycle battery. Ensure the correct voltage and amperage requirements are met for stable operation.

  • Type-C Port: Requires 5V 3A.
  • USB Cable: Motorcycle's USB port should output 5V 3A or higher.
  • Power Cable: Connect to the motorcycle's ACC power supply (red wire) and negative terminal (black wire). Ensure output voltage is 12V 1A.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

The W602S PRO allows wireless connection to your smartphone for CarPlay or Android Auto, providing access to navigation, calls, music, and messages via voice commands (Siri/Google Assistant).

  • Wireless CarPlay Connection: Requires an iPhone running iOS 8 or above. Turn on your phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, search for the device's Bluetooth, pair, and connect to CarPlay.
  • Wireless Android Auto Connection: Only supports Android 11 or above and 5GHz Wi-Fi Android phones. Turn on your phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, find the device, pair, and activate Android Auto.

4.2 Dual Bluetooth & Intercom Function

The device features dual Bluetooth technology, allowing simultaneous connection of your phone and a headset/helmet. It also supports intercom functionality for two riders.

  • Single-Person Connection: Connect your phone to the Carpuride screen's CarPlay or Android Auto, then use your phone to connect your Bluetooth headset or helmet. Do not connect your headset/helmet directly to the Carpuride screen in this mode.
  • Two-Person Connection (Intercom): The Carpuride screen allows audio sharing and intercom function between two connected headsets/helmets. Intercom mode and BT Trans mode cannot be used simultaneously.

4.3 Wired Controller

The included wired controller allows you to manage calls, power, and interface switching without diverting your attention from the road.

  • Cycle Button: Answer calls, long press to power on/off.
  • Phone Button: Hang up calls.
  • Home Button: Switch between home page and CarPlay/Android Auto, long press to lock screen.

4.4 Type-C Port Functionality

The multi-functional Type-C port can power the Carpuride screen, charge your phone, or even provide power to the motorcycle battery (with a portable power bank).

  • Powering the Carpuride Screen: Connect the power cable to the motorcycle's power supply.
  • Charging Your Phone: Ensure charging mode is turned off in the settings when using the Type-C port to charge your phone. This function is available when the screen is connected to the motorcycle battery's ACC power supply.
  • Powering the Motorcycle Battery: Use a portable power bank connected via the Type-C port.

Precautions for Charging and Discharging:
  • Before using the discharge function, disable charging mode in the Carpuride screen settings.
  • Only connect external electrical devices for charging after the vehicle engine has started.
  • Normal discharge operating voltage: 10.5V-14.8V. Discharge stops if battery voltage drops below 10.5V and resumes at 11.5V.
  • Maximum discharge power: 20W. Output voltage and current: 5V/3A, 9V/2.22A, 12V/1.67A, 20V/1A.
  • Supported fast charging protocols: PD2.0/PD3.1, QC2.0/QC3.0/QC3+, FCP, AFC, Apple.
  • When charging the vehicle battery, pay attention to the battery type. The product supports lead-acid and lithium iron phosphate batteries, not lithium batteries.
  • If the vehicle engine is turned off, it is not recommended to connect external devices for charging to prevent draining the vehicle's battery.

4.5 Audio Features

Enjoy music via Bluetooth or a TF card (not included). The device includes multiple preset EQ modes for a personalized listening experience.

4.6 Outdoor Riding Assistant

The built-in compass provides real-time directional guidance, and the barometer offers accurate pressure monitoring, useful for tracking weather conditions, especially in high-altitude areas.

4.7 Screen Brightness Adjustment

The 6.25-inch HD touchscreen features a light sensing design that automatically adjusts brightness. You can also manually adjust the screen for optimal visibility in various lighting conditions.

4.8 SOS Phone Function

The device includes a built-in SOS phone function. If a significant change in the vehicle's tilt angle and acceleration is detected, an SOS mode window will automatically appear, allowing you to cancel or dial a pre-set emergency number.

4.9 OTA Updates

The W602S PRO supports Over-The-Air (OTA) updates, allowing you to easily install the latest system updates, feature expansions, and security fixes via a network connection.

5. Maintenance

5.1 IP67 Waterproof Design

The device features an IP67 waterproof design, providing protection against dust and water immersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. This ensures reliable performance in various outdoor conditions, including rain, snow, and dusty environments.

5.2 Lock Screen Feature

The lock screen design prevents accidental operations caused by heavy rain or other environmental factors, enhancing safety and convenience during your ride.

5.3 Anti-Theft Design

The screen can be easily detached from its mount when not in use, providing anti-theft protection.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Carpuride W602S PRO, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • No Power: Ensure all power connections are secure and meet the specified voltage/amperage requirements. Check the motorcycle's battery and power source.
  • Connectivity Issues (CarPlay/Android Auto): Verify your phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled. Ensure your phone's operating system is compatible (iOS 8+ for CarPlay, Android 11+ with 5GHz Wi-Fi for Android Auto). Try restarting both the device and your phone.
  • Bluetooth Audio Problems: Confirm your phone is connected to the Carpuride screen for CarPlay/Android Auto, and your headset/helmet is connected to your phone (for single-person mode). For two-person intercom, ensure both headsets are connected to the Carpuride screen.
  • Screen Unresponsive: Try pressing the power button on the wired controller to restart the device. If unresponsive, check power supply.
  • Charging Issues via Type-C: Ensure charging mode is correctly enabled/disabled in settings as per the desired function (charging phone vs. powering screen). Check cable integrity.
