Buttons and Ports

The oraolo BS17 speaker features intuitive controls for easy operation:

  • Power Button: Press and hold to turn on/off.
  • Volume Up (+): Short press to increase volume. Long press for next track.
  • Volume Down (-): Short press to decrease volume. Long press for previous track.
  • Play/Pause Button: Press to play or pause music. Press to answer/end calls. Long press to reject calls.

Setup

1. Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the speaker's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate red. It will turn off once the speaker is fully charged (approximately 4-5 hours).

For optimal battery life, fully charge the speaker before first use.

2. Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED indicators light up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED indicators turn off.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (the blue LED indicator will be flashing). If not, press the 'M' button to switch to Bluetooth mode.
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "oraolo BS17" from the list of devices.
  4. Once connected, the blue LED indicator will become solid, and you will hear a confirmation sound.

4. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

To achieve a stereo sound experience, you can pair two oraolo BS17 speakers together:

  1. Ensure both BS17 speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), double-press the Power button. You will hear a prompt indicating TWS pairing mode.
  3. The two speakers will automatically search and connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the LED indicators on both speakers will synchronize.
  4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in step 3. Both speakers will play audio in stereo.

5. AUX and TF-Card Mode

  • AUX Mode: Insert a 3.5mm audio cable into the AUX port of the speaker and connect it to your audio source. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
  • TF-Card Mode: Insert a TF (microSD) card with MP3 audio files into the TF-Card slot. The speaker will automatically switch to TF-Card mode and begin playing music.

Operating Instructions

Basic Music Controls

  • Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button.
  • Volume Up: Short press the '+' button.
  • Volume Down: Short press the '-' button.
  • Next Track: Long press the '+' button.
  • Previous Track: Long press the '-' button.

Call Functions

When connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth:

  • Answer/End Call: Press the Play/Pause button.
  • Reject Call: Long press the Play/Pause button.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean your speaker, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or other chemical solvents, as these may damage the surface or internal components.

Water Resistance (IPX7)

The oraolo BS17 speaker is designed with an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning it can be immersed in water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes. This makes it suitable for use by the pool, at the beach, or in the shower. However, it is important to ensure all ports are securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.

Storage

Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If not used for an extended period, charge the battery at least once every three months to maintain its health.

Troubleshooting

  • Speaker does not turn on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the speaker to a power source using the USB-C cable.
  • Cannot pair via Bluetooth:
    • Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode (blue LED flashing).
    • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
    • Move the speaker closer to your device.
    • Forget "oraolo BS17" from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
    • Ensure no other devices are currently connected to the speaker.
  • No sound:
    • Check the volume level on both the speaker and your connected device.
    • Ensure the speaker is correctly paired or connected via AUX/TF-Card.
    • If using AUX, ensure the cable is fully inserted and functional.
  • Poor sound quality:

  • TWS pairing fails:
