2. Operating Instructions
2.1 Taking a Measurement
Step onto the scale with bare feet, ensuring your feet are in full contact with the 4 electrodes on the scale's surface. The scale will activate automatically. Pull out the retractable handle and hold it with both hands, ensuring your thumbs and fingers are touching the corresponding electrodes. Keep your arms naturally straight and hold the handle at a 30-45 degree angle from your body.

3. Maintenance
3.1 Cleaning
To clean the scale, use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the tempered glass surface or electrodes. Ensure the scale is dry before storage or next use.
3.2 Storage
Store the scale in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Its sleek and slim design (11x11x1.7 inches) allows for easy storage in most bathrooms or fitness areas.
4. Troubleshooting
4.1 Common Issues
- Scale not powering on: Check if the 4 AAA batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
- App not connecting: Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is on and the scale is powered. Try restarting the Starfit app or re-pairing the device through the "My Devices" section.
- Inaccurate readings: Ensure you are standing barefoot on a hard, flat surface. Make sure your feet are fully in contact with all 4 electrodes and your thumbs/fingers are firmly on the handle electrodes. Avoid moving during the measurement process.
