4. Setup
4.1. Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
4.2. Connecting the Antenna
Locate the antenna port on the side or back of the radio. Insert the telescopic antenna into this port. For optimal reception, extend the antenna fully when in use.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
Locate the power switch, typically labeled 'OFF/ON' or integrated with the volume knob. Slide or press to turn the radio on or off.
5.2. Band Selection
Press the 'FM', 'AM', or 'BAND' button to cycle through the available frequency bands: FM, AM (Medium Wave), and SW (Shortwave). The selected band will be displayed on the screen.
5.3. Tuning
Rotate the large tuning knob to manually scan for stations. For fine-tuning, use the 'STEP' button to adjust the frequency in smaller increments. The current frequency will be shown on the display.

5.4. Volume Adjustment
Rotate the volume knob to increase or decrease the audio output level.
5.5. Audio Bandwidth Filter
Press the 'BWF' (Bandwidth Filter) button to cycle through different audio bandwidth settings (0.1K, 1K, 2K, 5K, 10Khz). Selecting a narrower bandwidth can help reduce interference on crowded bands, while a wider bandwidth provides fuller audio quality for strong signals.
5.6. Saving Stations
To save a favorite station, tune to the desired frequency, then press and hold the 'SAVE' button (if available, or refer to specific button labels on your device for memory functions). Follow any on-screen prompts to assign a memory slot.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
Wipe the radio's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or strong chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
6.2. Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the radio frequently. If storing the radio for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% and store in a cool, dry place. Recharge every few months to prevent deep discharge.
6.3. Antenna Care
Handle the telescopic antenna gently. Avoid bending or forcing it, as this can cause damage. Retract the antenna when not in use or during transport to protect it.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Power:
- Ensure the radio is fully charged.
- Check that the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Poor Reception:
- Fully extend the telescopic antenna.
- Try repositioning the radio, especially near a window or outdoors.
- Adjust the audio bandwidth filter ('BWF') to a narrower setting to reduce interference.
- For AM/SW, try rotating the radio for better signal orientation.
- No Sound:
- Increase the volume.
- Ensure headphones are not plugged in if you intend to use the speaker.
- Verify that a station is properly tuned in.
