This portable speaker features Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, vibrant RGB lighting, FM radio, and multiple playback options including USB and TF card. Controls:

  • Power Button: Press and hold to turn the speaker On/Off.
  • Play/Pause Button: Play or pause audio. Answer/end calls in Bluetooth mode.
  • Volume Up (+): Increase volume. Long press for next track/FM station.
  • Volume Down (-): Decrease volume. Long press for previous track/FM station.
  • Mode Button (M): Switch between Bluetooth, FM Radio, USB, TF Card, and AUX-IN modes.
  • LED Button: Change RGB lighting modes.

Ports:

  • USB-A Port: For USB flash drive playback.
  • TF Card Slot: For Micro SD card playback.
  • AUX-IN Port (3.5mm): For wired audio connection.
  • USB Type-C Charging Port: For charging the speaker.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a 5V DC USB power adapter (not included).
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off once fully charged.
  4. A full charge typically takes approximately 2-3 hours.

4.2 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the RGB lights activate.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the RGB lights deactivate.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (indicated by an audible prompt or LED status). If not, press the Mode button to switch to Bluetooth mode.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
  3. Search for available devices and select "AIWA BST-130RD" from the list.
  4. Once paired, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation.
  5. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.

5.2 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

The TWS function allows you to connect two Aiwa BST-130RD speakers for a stereo sound experience.

  1. Ensure both BST-130RD speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth mode, but not yet paired to any device.
  2. On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), double-press the Play/Pause button. The speaker will search for another BST-130RD.
  3. Once connected, you will hear an audible confirmation. The primary speaker will act as the left channel, and the secondary speaker as the right channel.
  4. Now, pair your Bluetooth device to the primary speaker as described in Section 5.1.

5.3 FM Radio Operation

  1. Press the Mode button repeatedly until you enter FM Radio mode.
  2. Press the Play/Pause button once to initiate an automatic station scan. The speaker will scan and save available FM stations.
  3. Use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons (long press) to navigate between saved stations.

5.4 USB / TF Card Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB-A port or a TF (Micro SD) card into the TF card slot.
  2. The speaker will automatically switch to the corresponding mode and begin playing MP3 files. If not, press the Mode button to select USB or TF mode.
  3. Use the Play/Pause button to control playback. Use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons (long press) to skip tracks.

5.5 AUX-IN Mode

  1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the speaker's AUX-IN port.
  2. Connect the other end to the audio output of your external device (e.g., MP3 player, computer).
  3. Press the Mode button to switch to AUX-IN mode.
  4. Audio will now play through the speaker. Control playback from your external device.

5.6 Hands-free Function

When connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls.

  • Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause button once.
  • End Call: Press the Play/Pause button once during a call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button for 2 seconds.

5.7 RGB Lighting Control

The speaker features a dynamic RGB lighting system.

  • Press the LED button to cycle through different RGB lighting modes.
  • Press and hold the LED button to turn the RGB lighting On/Off.

6. Maintenance

  • Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Avoid exposing the speaker to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
  • Do not immerse the speaker in water. It is not waterproof.
  • When not in use for extended periods, charge the battery at least once every three months to prolong its lifespan.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Speaker does not power on. Low battery. Charge the speaker using the provided USB Type-C cable.
No sound. Volume too low; incorrect mode; device not paired. Increase volume on speaker and connected device. Ensure correct mode is selected. Re-pair Bluetooth device.
Bluetooth pairing fails. Speaker not in pairing mode; device too far; interference. Ensure speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode. Move device closer to speaker. Turn off other Bluetooth devices.
FM radio reception is poor. Weak signal; environmental interference. Move the speaker to a different location. Perform an auto-scan again.
